Major League Baseball 2010 thread OK I will start this out with an announcement of change in baseball lore. I want to preface this by saying I hate the Yankees, but I love legends regardless of what franchise they are affiliated with. A Yankee legend has just announced his retirement, Bob Sheppard, the PA system announcer of the Yankees, is retiring at age 99. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slu...prov=ap&type=l I wish this legend good luck and hope he enjoys his well earned retirement. |
