Qwarx I just got it today. It is amazing! The only complaints are that the computers get more uber items in the earlier difficulties than in the past games and the Wii Wheel will fuck up your turning sometimes. Aside from that, awesome.

Fathom Zero I don't like the fact that there's absolutely no skill involved in the game. That irritates me.

mepsipax Ya well, I love this game and all and have 100% wheel but 150cc is really hard I gotta warn ya, while playing it I have insulted my fair share of fictional characters (god damn toad thinks he's so great. Oh and friend code 1418-7273-0566

gingerninja I picked this one up too, and I liked it for the most part. Like you and some of the other people, I use dry bones a lot. I like his clicking sounds.
the thing that bugs me is that you can so easily switch from first place to really far back. And it's always right before Iget the finish line. I have dubbed this the "Blue Shell of Death" syndrome.

I liked the wheel at first, but I decided to give the GCN controller a go, and found that it played a lot better than the wheel.

Bigfoot 42 I bought a wii mainly to play Mario Kart with some friends who I just moved away from, but none of the deadbeats has it or has signed up a friend code yet. I like to pretend you're my friend, so here's my code:

Protoclown I think this is a fun game, but I think the Game Cube version is better because of the two riders per kart. The ability to hold one weapon in reserve allowed for a little bit of strategy which is totally lacking from this game (plus the character specific items could not be beat). All too often I have gone from 1st place to 12th in just a few short seconds because I didn't have the right item at the right time, and was unable to do anything about an attack (a problem which was much less common in the Game Cube version). I do like the motorcycles though and some of the new tracks are fucking AWESOME.

I still need to get you my friend code. :O

Oh that's so cool. If we can match just once, that'll make my day. I also race as Drybones (and the wiiwheel), so I guess that's the perfect setup for one epic ride which, I hope, will inspire Vince McMahon for John Cena's next action flick (why not?).

Julio Hah, this weekend I went to a local videogame store trying to make the decision of which next-gen console to get. I got the Xbox 360 tough, despite the very fact that Mario Kart for Wii had me really tempted (it is the only game next to Goldeneye and Ocarina of Time that I really enjoyed on Nintendo 64). I have to say that I got some real nice games for my brand new console. Splinter Cell: Doulbe Agent, Assasin's Creed and Devil May Cry 4 have been my first shots.

Qwarx I don't have it yet (I haven't got around to buying it), but I don't get why they had to add Baby Daisy.
