Terror In The Aisles: Movie Review Movie: "Terror In The Aisles" Year: 1984 Rated: R (Why?) Genre: Documentary Directed by: Andrew J. Kuehn Writing Credits: Margaret Doppelt Plot: A ton of clips from horror & suspense films narrated by Donald Pleasence (Halloween 1, II) & Nacy Allen (Dressed to Kill) Review: It may be outdated (containing only horror movies up to 1984) but it's still a lot of fun. The topics that are discussed include "sex and terror", loathsome villans and the occult, all of witch include tons of clips from movie witch relate to that topic. Donald Pleasence seems a little crazy while narrating (shouting at the screen unrealistically, and randomly talking to strangers in the theater) while Nacy Allen seems to be tortued by discussing these topics. One of my favorite parts is the very end where they have a montage of all the movies show with a cheesy pop song about horror cliche's. This VHS is out of print but available on youtube inconveniently in 24 parts. Here is the cheesy montage http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKQJO_aJejk |
