danixdefcon5 This game is very enjoyable. Though I have to say: That Other Guy is right. The game's difficulty spikes considerably at the point you reach the "Deathcam VHS" mission. From this point onwards, it gets really Nintendo Hard. Deathcam VHS is hard, I'd even say harder than Smash TV (especially as you start without weapons!). Escaping that area isn't that hard ... the next "castle" is moderately hard, but passable. That final boss battle is indeed hard, or at least within the insanely hard boss battles from the NES era. Once you get to the "3-D" chase, that's when it gets easy again. But yeah, 95% of the game is pretty good, while 5% is really hard. But 100% fun!

MightyMonarch ....Are you under the impression RCR and ABA are in the same genre? Or is it just because they have throwback references and are sprite based? Because those similarities are... well worthless. Comparisons are kind of invalid.

Besides RCR isn't that hard. Only PS3 game I ever got a platinum trophy on.

That Other Guy Not to sound like a suck-up, but I really liked ABA better than RCR. While RCR is a lot bigger than ABA, it's the sadistic difficulty that killed it for me. Without giving any spoilers, I'll say that the final boss battle was brutal. (At least I think it was the final boss; I never managed to beat him.) The boss only has a brief window of vulnerability; and you can only take three hits, or sometimes one, if the game just decides on a whim to be extra cruel. Needless to say, dying means you have to restart the entire battle. Unless you have something to do and have to take a break, then the game kicks you back much further. I just gave up on it.

Mister Tea Funny you say a sprite-based adaption of GTA, since parts I and II were sprite-based.

Nick I loved this game so much I shipped a copy off to Protoclown to add to that huge list of games of his. It was absolutely amazing.
