I feel safest of all
I can lock all my doors
It's the only way to live
In cars

Here in my car
I can only receive
I can listen to you
It keeps me stable for days
In cars

The image breaks down
Will you visit me please
If I open my door
In cars

I know I've started to think
About leaving tonight
Although nothing seems right
In cars

Mad Melvin when I think of the 80´s the first thing that pops in my head is the song called "cars". Cant remember the bands name.
The most 80´s movie has got to be Police Academy.

Sheila still performs that song fabulously. Saw her when she was in the 2001 lineup of Ringo Starr's All Starr Band, and that was one of the songs they did....she's still amazing

Spooky movie? The Breakfast Club or Labrynth

song? Hot for teacher by Van Halen
Nov 24th, 2003 01:06 PM
Bennett I will give you "Take On me" just because "Everybody wants to rule the World" transcends the labeling of 80's song.

As far as movies go, I would have to say the Goonies or Better off Dead.

Protoclown I'd agree that "Take on Me" is probably my favorite 80s song, and it IS the best music video EVER.

But I didn't want to just give the same answer Roger gave.

I said "The Breakfast Club" because he asked for ONE song and ONE movie.
