|Emu||I think we should be allowed to 5-star rate threads in Gayups so that we can ensure that the idiots who have been dumped therein are as humiliated as possible.|

Gay ups is great
Any possibility of zbf being left to his own homosexual devices without bothering anybody else is ok with me
|Aug 8th, 2007 04:56 PM|
|ItalianStereotype||I don't like gay ups, it's just /b/ with all of the stupid people and none of the porn.|
|Aug 8th, 2007 05:05 AM|
|MLE||I TOTALLY AGREE|

As someone who has a vested interest in the comments of MY CRAZY DAD, I completely agree. Scrolling past it to get to read new comments was always annoying. This is a good idea for everyone.

I like the gay-ups forum idea. Is there a way where we can make particularly offending members "gay-ups only" where they are only allowed to post in the gay-ups forum and no where else. And then there they can wreak havoc and do whatever they want in there without annoying upstanding citizens of this fine forum such as myself. Courage the Cowardly Dog could use it as an outlet to post all his shitty threads, for example!
I know this is barely a step-up from my nicely phrased BAN EVERYONE THAT SUCKS suggestion but work with me here ok

I don't have anyone on ignore, because that way, I can feel like an elitist vet getting mad at the stupid people.
I was about to say stupid new people, but some people just don't change.

|Guitar Woman||I thought of that while adding EndersGame to my ignore list, he gets credit for it too!|
|Aug 8th, 2007 03:36 AM|
|MLE||I totally agree, no relation to the person posting above me.|
|Aug 8th, 2007 03:34 AM|
|Guitar Woman||I just thought of a great one, you know how when you click on someone's username it shows you that little list of options pretaining to that person? Make one of them "Add User to Ignore List."|
|Aug 7th, 2007 08:58 PM|
|MLE||Oh, right. sorry emu ;> I guess you should get the credit there.|

You mean agree to Emu, right?
I'll add EXPANDA-QUOTES into the 'look up' list.

Reply to Rongi (AGREEANCE)
Actually, this would be an incredibly useful tool for several reasons. For one, if someone really wants to quote someone, they can quote into a spoilers tag (maybe this should be default), and also in the art shit forum, for those fags that don't know how to make a small image click to show a large one, they can put their large-ass image under a cut. That way if you're just going in to see the comments, you don't have to scroll past a whole episode of my crazy dad to see them. I frequently read this forum, but the lack of common sense in that forum has made me kinda back away.
Ps-i liked my crazy dad, so don't take offense at the context
Pps- for anyone who still doesn't get what rongi and I mean by this, just think of a livejournal cut.

|Emu||Also can we have a spoilers tool where it hides anything behind the tag unless you click a button to show it?|
|Aug 7th, 2007 10:47 AM|
|Emu||Can we have the words "ftw," "lulz," "4chan" and "mudkipz" replaced with furry porn?|

|Fathom Zero||There should be a random .mp3 playing in the background that no one should be able to turn off.|

Except then it gets pixeleated and gay, and I'd rather have to scroll sideways than look at an ugly picture. But as long as it doesn't just crop the image anymore, I will be happy.
Unrelated: your new forum theme made me giggle.

I agree with this, but i don't think the forums should stretch. I think the images should auto-shrink to the size of the window in which it's being viewed.

If we do do new forums, a warning in advance if the forum sucks would be nice. Preferrebly something undertone like "Qaurts, qaurts, qaurts!", since you can smell the wonton social adventures a mile away. Then after a month or two you can change the name back to what you originally intended, say like "General Blabber."
Anyways, I call for a "Mildly warm roast beef and cheese sandwich themed haiku's only" forum.
