MrAdventure I find it hard to believe that a "150 action limitation per session" stipulation would be a problem for a simple conversion. If you actually plan on editing the file in detail I wouldn't have suggested that program.

Tropical Dude, gold wave is limited.

Like 5000 commands max only.

They just annoy you every 150 command

executioneer .wmas are about half the size of .mp3s of similar quality level

Anonymous Just out of curiosity... what is the purpose of a WMA file? Most people listen to long audio files in mp3 format, and short audio clips or CDs are WAV. What are WMA files good for?

MrAdventure Goldwave. It's a trial, but it's only restricted in the form of a reminder after a certain amount of actions, somethin' every 140 or so I believe.

does anyone have or know where to get a freeware to convert .MP3 to .WMA

Please make sure it's not a trial version where they only let you use it for a certain period of time.
