ThrashO it actually checks outlets that way... so that's actually advice that wouldn't kill me... Maybe "use the leads to check both your eyeballs at the same time"

AChimp Turn the dial to the 20 on the DC part (V with a straight line). Red lead is positive, black lead is negative.

I got this at a pawn shop for $5, and I'm replacing all of the batteries in my SNES and Genesis carts because hardly any of them save anymore.
