The Leader I've only watched Star Trek and the Next Generation. Because I have taste.

Colonel Flagg Voyager started out promising, then quickly became a giant schlong-sucking show.

Still watched it, though.

Colonel Flagg No. Quark was amusing. Rom deserved a slow death by roasting over an open fire with scorpions being shoved up his sphincter.

Dimnos This thread has gone fucking crazy. I have never been a Star Trek fan and cant tell you what they use in the show or the movies but in the MMO they use some sort of energy credits or something.

Colonel Flagg Engage!

I think he might be confusing Trek geeks with furries. We're WAY cooler than they are.

EDIT: And, FYI the only Trek show of which I didn't see all the episodes was "Enterprise", because it sucked.

In short, humans seem to have ditched money, but other aliens still have it.

It's complicated, I guess.

It may not be universal, but it was used as currency, especially when dealing with the Ferengi.
Thus using a form of currency.

Supafly345 I am no star trek aficionado, but wasn't the fact that the TNG movies suggested there was no money in the future piss people off because the show clearly shows they do? I dunno I remember there being a controversy there.
