I remember watching that wondering "Who the fuck would go out of their way to destroy the environment?" Seriously. Get a hobbie. |

Comrade Rocket | I remeber one of the shows they had to deal with pollution of the MIND. There were gang member or somebody shot someone because of there race. I don't really remember. It scared me shitless for reasons i can't remeber either, rendering this post totally useless.

FS | Jesus Christ. Where'd they get all those big names? Back when that show was made it was probably good for publicity to be a part of it or something. Or maybe they received heavy government funding.

And the only reason they kept Ma-Ti around, was because he controlled that little monkey. |

Psycho Squid | I remember there was a villian called Duke Nukem. He looked like the Thing from the Fantastic Four with a mohawk, but he wasn't as cool as the Thing. I also remember one episode when all the bad guys created Captain Pollution and he beat the shit out of Captain Planet. That was probably the only good episode of Captain Planet I have seen.

Yea, that monkey was cool, damn cool. The planeteers also may have been usin Ma-Ti (the heart ring guy) for that green stuff sticken out of his sleeve... In the following video clip, Wheeler (the fire dude) helps a helpless lady and Suchi the spider-monkey escape from a building thats about to explode. WARNING: ACTION PACKED. http://www.turner.com/planet/movies/wheelermov.html Heres another one where the planeteers encounter A LION Luckily, Kwame steps up and saves the day. http://www.turner.com/planet/movies/kwamemov.html |

GO PLANET! captain planet, he is a god-like superbeing who can do all kinds of crazy shit, so he hires a bunch of kids who end up starting fires or causing earthquakes to bumble their way to victory. THE POWER IS YOURS! |

That kid with the heart power is useless. It's like when they auditioned to be "planeteers", he was the runner-up and heart power was a consolation prize or something. Look at the picture, he's way in the back behind Captain Planet. He's forgotten and worthless. |

I think they made a few episodes to try and suggest that "from South-America, Ma-Ti, with the power of Heart" had some kind of purpose in the team, but we all knew better. The only reason they even let him tag along was because if they didn't, Captain Planet would emerge like a robot bent on destruction instead of a crystalline fruit. This must've been one of the most politically correct cartoons ever. |
