I know just what you mean. Hell, even stimulants don't really have any affect for me (such as coffee).

Dr. Octogonopus Not really anymore. I found it helps if you tire your mind out by playing a shitload of puzzle games so you won't want to think as much afterwards. That and smooth, refreshing Melatonin.

Fathom Zero Sleepytime Tea?

That has valerian in it. It's supposed to put you right out, but sedatives never had much of an effect on me. That's just my personal experience, I'm sure it works for other people.

Archduke Tips Two things help me to sleep:
1.) NyQuil works very well. I only take it when I am sick, but most of the time when I can't sleep it is because I am sick. I wouldn't recommend taking NyQuil too often, it might be bad for you.
2.) I drink some tea with chamomile and mint that helps me to relax and fall asleep whenever I can't fall asleep. It works very well, and it comes in a box that has a bear on the front in a night gown which amuses me every time.

Fat_Hippo EP, that's a pretty good sign that you should STOP smoking those damn joints all day long. I've got nothing against an occasional puff, but shit, if you can't go without them for 3 days...bad sign. Just a piece of advice.

ElPila666 I just couldn't sleep in all night long, i used to smoke 1 or 2 joints per day and that tired me helping me to get sleep , but now i don't have any, and i'm getting anxiety i feel i'm just going insane. Maybe some pills help me but it's been 3 days ago since i smoke my last joint, no way man, this is crazy, i wish she became legal

BurntToShreds I've stayed up for about 28 hours, and when I went to go to sleep, the curtains and other inanimate objects looked like they were pulsating. It was weird.

Fathom Zero I get corner of eye hallucinations at around 18 hours. I've seen plenty of ghosts at four in tthe morning. I've never been up for more than five days, but that was once years ago. I could never do it again, though. It was like walking through water.

Shyandquietguy Don't drink sodas and sugars.

Get all of your more important thoughts and concerns settled before you go to bed.

Don't be tired when you go to bed! You can't concentrate on sleeping if you do!

Don't drink alot of water! You'll ahve to pee if you do!

Relax! Play with legos or something! Puzzles balls are cheeks! Don't do them in bed though!

I can't remember all of them but there is a placard in the wellness center here with tips, I'll post more when I find it!

P.S. I agree with the music and sounds and such, but more importantly the music! I often stay up a little later just listening to music (I can't sleep with headphones and I don't like earbuds) but I find I get a lot of neat images and thoughts from them and by maybe half an hour I'm really tired, tired enough to go to bed! Get tired in bed and stay in bed! Get it?

P.S.S. (I drank alot of water! )
Fuck T.V.s! They're too much effort for me for some reason, I guess because I like being active!

Zomboid I still have insomnia but I usually don't care anymore. I just watch tv or read until I fall asleep. If I have something important early the next day, I just take nyquil.

Fathom Zero I used to have insomnia. I would just be up days on end doing things with just a couple hours of sleep. To get rid of it, I'd listen to WJFK in Washington D.C., a talk radio station. They had shows I liked to listen to. I would turn everything off and listen to only that in the dark. It'd put me to sleep after a while.

That's why I love the fact that my DirecTV comes with XM Radio, specifically XM 202: The Virus. Opie & Anthony and Ron & Fez.

Tadao Yeah, I've tried all that Doc Oc. If the natural way doesn't work, I can suggest other legal unnatural ways.
