as much as it pains me to agree with the snobby french girl, she's right. humans are the only mammals that drink milk during adulthood in nature. that being said, i friggin love milk and i can't see myself giving it up. i think the idea that milk will make you sick is ridiculous. i think that there are some people who are more prone to being lactose intolerant and i've read that there might be a link between milk intake and crone's disease, but to say that if you consume it, you WILL GET SICK is a bit extreme to me. i drink skim milk. i have ever since i was a youngin. it doesn't make me sick. actually, it calms my stomach when i'm not feeling well. i like soy milk, too, but not enough to give up regular milk. |

About two years ago the schools in washington stopped selling milk that had undergone hormonal treatment. The result was that a few years later, all the freshmen in my highschool looked like 10 year olds. And don't try and get me on the way that freshmen always look really young by the time your an upper-classman. I compared them with my own year in the yearbooks and the freshmen that were coming in that year were entirely underdeveloped from a lack of BGH-1 in their milk. THE CHILDREN NEED THEIR BOVINE GROWTH HORMONE IN ORDER TO BE BIG AND STRONG!! Did you know that in countries where people don't drink milk they don't hit puberty till about 17? True fact. |

ThisIsWitty | That stuff from Nestle that makes milk taste like coffee is pretty damned good. Especially if you put it in the blender with ice and shit. | |

ok let me be serious, for once. or twice, whatever. milk is for babies. once you are grown up drinking milk is going to make you sick / retarded. unless it's in the form of cheese / yoghurt / pima / whatever does not contains lactose, at least. but cow milk is not good even once de-lactosed by fermentation (too many hormones and whathaveyou). |
