AChimp There aren't many applications that support 64-bit processors. Until they do, expect everything to run shitty.

ziggytrix Silly Chojin. Emergent technology always sucks for a couple years.

But I haven't tried it. OS X on my 64 bit (G5) processor at work runs REALLY well, but they're on it's 4th major revision. Has Win64 even got its first service pack out yet?

I'm wondering prehaps if maybe the integrity of your install is a bit lossy - like a copy of a copy - but that's just my technophobic distrust of p2p, pay it no mind...

What is the point of Windows x64?

All my games run a little worse, lots of drivers don't work, and my graphic applications (Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS) go SO slowly that they're unusable, and those are the applications that Win64 is supposed to improve.

So what the fuck is the point of this OS? Am I missing something?
