Yes.
I wrecked my phone batterie by charging it for about 20 minutes then it would run out, now after full charges the batterie life is about 3 hours.

Esuohlim No, I use it for music purposes only. And I got about nine hours out of it this time so I'm going with what pjalne said.

executioneer are you using it for videos or for music, because i'm willing to bet the 14 hours is only for music and that the video probably drains juice like a guy with a bad sore throat

iPod drains batteries like fuck

I've got one of them new video iPod dealies that boasts "14 hours of battery life", but I found myself recharging it for the fifth time last night since Christmas. My iPod only plays about three or four hours before the battery life bar is red and almost empty.

I've never had an iPod before so it's probably my fault or something. Maybe I don't know how to turn it off right (sometimes when I turn it back on it acts like it's rebooting, sometimes it acts like it was just in standby mode), but I'm wondering if there's anything wrong with it and maybe I should try taking it back and getting a new one?
