Tadao You still might be able to go into the properties of your shortcut and find a run as admin option. Yes it won't fix your question as to what happened and it might not even fix your problem, but stop living in the past.

Dr. Boogie I've got XP, and it only recently started doing this.

All I can think of as the cause is some routines I went through to get some viruses off my PC. How, I don't know, but that's the only thing I've done differently since it stopped working.

Tadao If you have Vista, you should try right click the short cut and try run as admin.

Nero not recognizing admin rights

I'd ask the people at Nero, but they're too damn busy for me.

I've got Nero Express 6 on my PC, but it recently stopped letting me burn CDs/DVDs and claims I need admin rights, even though there's only one account on my PC. I tried installing their BurnRights crap, but even then it tells me that I need admin rights to burn shit.

Anyone know what the problem is?
