Jeff The Ninja | If i dont use my keyboard, i put in my X-Arcade joystick. It works well with genesis games as most games are of the arcade variety.

W01fman | Radio shack has a PS2 to USB adapter. Item 26-729. Cost me $11.99. It came with a driver cd for an easy install. I'm been playing Frets on Fire like crazy and it works great for my wireless gitar hero controller.

If you want to be bold, you can try to rewire a Genesis controller to work on your computer. I've heard of people doing it with SNES controllers before, so why not? Also, if you're going the PS2 USB route, Smartjoy is the best brand to go with. My friend has one, and it works perfectly. |

Girl Drink Drunk | I got my PS2 to USB adapter. It works great for the most part, altough it's kind of odd when playing NES ROMs.

Are there any good PC controllers for playing Genesis ROMs? I'm looking for a controller that actually has a good D-pad with directional buttons that aren't webbed together (like that X-Box 360 did), and resembles either a PS/PS2 or SNES controller. Considering I'm not big on PC gaming as far as newer games go, Im not looking for something too expensive. I just need a good controller to play NES or Genesis ROMs. |
