The hardest part of Battletoads is the one where you hold onto a wheel as a big disc chases you around the level for no reason. There are no breaks and this goes on for well over 10 minutes. If you die, you ahve to start over. I'm cheating and I can't beat this |

Battletoads, the arcade game??? Is there a ROM? Can I buy the cabinet from somewhere? I haven't promised my firstborn child to anyone yet! And half the point of Battletoads was how hard it was. The speeder bikes weren't too bad, anyone used to the difficulty of NES games could get through that part after a week or two of throwing controllers across the room. |

ANd there's also parts where u crush their head with your foot, after it turns into a 10 ton weight! Serious, that game is the only one worth being remade at this time, since the other games had arcade sequences that were impossible(fucking speeder parts... ) BEsides, it'll fit perfectly in with those duch bags that think that a good game has to be gore and/ or have tits in order to be good. True, they add some spice to the mix but it can't replace good gameplay (*cough, cough* tomb raider *cough, cough*)! |

People, please. Battletoads: The Arcade Game. You grab the giant rat enemy by his crotch and crush his naughty parts with your sledgehammer hand. |

Zbu Manowar | And what about Battlemaniacs, the SNES Battletoad game? Better graphics, same plot, kickass. |

Battletoads and Double Dragon: THE ULTIMATE TEAM!!!11 That was probably the most violent game on the NES next to Sweet Home. I'm surprised nobody complained about it. |

HickMan | RARE was never all that great to begin with. If you ask me. Aside from Bond, perfect dark, and Conker. They suck. |

Cap'n Crunch | Rare still makes games on GBA. It's just not on Gamecube or anything, and the only thing we are missing out on was Perfect Dark and Conker's Bad Fur day. Donkey Kong 64 and Banjo fucking sucked. |

Mike P | Rare-Tradewest did. And yeah, a re-release is really doubtful, but it would still be really cool. |

Drev | No offense, but I doubt a re-release of Battletoads. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Rare make it, and if so, that means they won't make it to the GBA because they now only make X-Box games. |

Battletoads Many of you have heard about how they're re-releasing the first "Double Dragon" game for GBA. This had me think about another great game for the NES that needs to be remade for a new generation. If the title of the thread hadn't given it away, that game is Battletoads. Battletoads, in my opinion, was one of the greatest action games of all time. The play mechanics were fun, you could steal weapons and ride on your enemies, and the first level boss was done quite well. The second level was one I'll always remember, simply because I could never get past it. All in all, this game should be remade for the GBA. I'd buy it. |
