executioneer police quest 3, if you don't mind having to run an amiga emulator :-[

here's
the king's quests up to 6, also amiga

this one looks like a torrent with basically all you asked for and then some, plus i am positive it is active i'm getting 80k/s right now (but look out that website has got millions of popups :-[)
Jan 19th, 2006 08:42 AM
executioneer http://www.demonoid.com/torrents/details/244302/ this one only has the Roberta Williams games (kings quest), and it's CD images so expect a long download tiem

http://www.demonoid.com/torrents/details/248490/ says in the description it's a "russian" compilation, but i can't tell if it's the original english-language ones (because it's a dead torrent ). does appear to have kq 5 and 6, and claims to have space quest, police quest, leisure suit larry etc. you probably can ask them to reseed it if you want to

http://www.demonoid.com/torrents/details/260161/ not sure if you wanted quest for glory but hey here's 1-4

http://www.demonoid.com/torrents/details/165100/ and here's 5.

Jeff The Ninja And for all of the old Lucasarts games (sam n Max, the dig...) look for something called Scumm VM, It kicks ass for all of those.
Jan 18th, 2006 07:29 PM
Jeff The Ninja I have Kings Quest V over here. But its the 16 or 32 color version so it looks like garbage. But its still good, ill see if i can send it to any one who wants it as soon as I can Find it.
Jan 18th, 2006 05:59 PM
timrpgland Yeah, DOSBox is pretty sweet for playing old games but I really only use it for Daggerfall for the most part. I made a thread about it a while back.

:

Fucking buying those.

Anyway, I have/had KQ1-4 that played perfectly in emulation. I can see if I can find those, but they're probably either on one of a bajillion discs, or I deleted them. KQ5-7, I couldn't find copies of that worked properly.

But yeah, Sierra seems to be pretty strict on warez and emulation, so their old games are very hard to find on websites. I ended up getting KQ1-4 from the now-dead Suprnova torrents site.

I actually OWN KQ1-7, but my CDs can't install the games on my more recet computers, because of a driver compatability issue. And Sierra doesn't support these games anymore. So I'd need to essentially rebuild a 1995-era system in order to play a game I fucking own.

CheapAlert spacequest.net had them all but they got esaOWNED.

they have a hrorible "DONT STELE OUR PICTURES WE PIXELD THEM YES ITS ARE aRTWORK" policy anyway.

This has em. They have a horrible definition of abandonware that's synonymous with oldwarez though. They may get lucaspwned or esapwnd eventually so get it while you can lol

Also Mockery, you may want to use DOSbox to play them at their intended framerate and audio/visual. Thank fred for not having to dig out an old computer to play these or use the shitty SCI win16 binary.

Mockery I found a few of my old backups of some games, but would still like some links, especially for Space Quest and Police Quest.

Also, do you know of any way to get screen grabs from those games?
Jan 18th, 2006 01:34 PM
timrpgland I'll post what links I have when I get a chance if no one else responds.
Jan 18th, 2006 01:20 PM
