That sounds like a Flash game to be invented. It could go along with the Bush-dodging-shoes one.

Tadao I think I just heard that the lady with no face is suing her friend. I looked online but haven't seen anything yet. If she is, then I hope she loses. I don't feel sorry for either of them. I know, we can talk about if your dog bites someone who comes over to your house and what not. That makes sense, whatever. I just don't really care about either of these two people.

I only feel obligated to feel sorry for people who are dying of cancer and are remorseful for the way they acted.

Jane Goodall talked about that when she discovered violent behavior among chimps. It really bothered her.

Well, we stopped living in trees and picking fleas off of each other, perhaps we can stop being violent...

Ironically enough, for example a shark can do a lot of damage, it can hurt you very terribly, but I don’t, don’t think a shark can be cruel, it doesn’t have the brains to understand what the effect is of its actions. Now chimpanzees do have that kind of understanding. Chimpanzees have empathy and sympathy and so as a result they can also inflict pain on purpose I think."

A male chimp is probably the worst possible pet of all great apes. Bonobos are horny and utterly peaceful. (Though I guess for a pet the constant sexual presentation would get a bit awkward) Gorillas are hulking but docile, silverbacks will fight over harems but it's mostly ritualistic and deaths are rare, though they will kill the offspring of competing males. Male orangutans are rapists and make terrible pets as well. Gibbons are speed freaks that only want to fling poop and do george of the jungle shit all day long.

But chimps are just fucked up cannibals that wage war on competing social groups, eat theirs and others' young, and fashion weapons to hunt adorable lesser primates like bushbabies.

I can't really tell whether that was an emo or Metal thing to say.

Wow. Was he any good at it? I think I saw something with chimps playing Pac-man a few years ago, but they didn't seem to grasp the point of the game.

Jeanette X I could never, ever work with chimps. I can deal with an animal, I can deal with a human, but I can't deal with a creature that has attributes of both.

J. Tithonus Pednaud I have experience with chimpanzees. I traveled across Canada caring for a young primate by the name of Milo. Just the two of us in an RV stopping at the occasional rest stop and carnival. We even shared a bunk bed and I changed his diapers.

The differences between a chimpanzee raised and socialized by human beings and a chimp in the wild or even a zoo setting is astronomical. Milo, for all intensive purposes was a human child of about 3 years of age. That said, he was an is an animal who would only mentally progress to a certain point. Furthermore, they are prone to the same psychosis people suffer from and are perhaps even more prone. Add to that their stunted learning and you have the equivalent of a mentally disabled person who can pull your arms off.

Milo, was only a few years old but was as strong as an ox and he knew it too. We would play from time to time and he was very aware of just how much pressure he could apply to my hand. If I said 'ow' or 'no' he listened. It was strange in that he seemed to listen because I was his friend and he generally liked me. I'm sure he also saw me as someone higher up the social ladder too but I never really had to be stern with him.

Still, I always had great respect for the fact that he was an animal with a hell of a lot more natural abilities and fangs. I think the was the difference. I knew what he was capable of and was on alert for any warning signs.
