Royal Tenenbaum Animals was a wicked album

Yes, Cut The Crap smoked, but I want to make sure people hated it for the right reasons, not just it's reputation.

Dole Agreed, Cut The Crap is appaling. This is England is just embarrasing.

Pink Floyd SUCKED SUCKED SUCKED after Piper At The Gates Of Dawn. Syd left and took all the talent with him.

Rongi Back on topic:

Cut The Crap- The Clash

But that one doesn't really count, since most of the members where missing :/

The Bleeding - Cannibal Corpse
Hail To Theif- Radiohead ( it's not terrible, but it's pretty mediocre compared to Amnesiac and Kid A )
Carnival Of Chaos - GWAR
Songs About Fucking - Big Black ( I actually like this album, but they've done better )

they've only spawned that because it's easier to imitate Metallica rather than Radiohead. I'm sure you could go to any high school in the U.S. and find a high school band that plays Metallica songs or Metallica-like songs. I'm not saying that they have no talent, I'm just saying they overall have less talent. Food for thought.... now swallow.

I like Johnny Cash. I don't know if that falls into the category of over-produced Nashville bullshit country or not, but I like him.

As for Geggy, about 95% of rap sucks, but there are a few that are quite good. Jurassic 5, Beastie Boys, Wu-Tang Clan, any member of the Wu-Tang Clan and the Roots are all pretty good. There are more, but I can't think of them right now.
Jul 30th, 2003 09:35 PM
Geggy Don't forget that some rappers can be real good at what they do. Take NAS for example...fucking genius. Yes, rap music can be really annoying but sometime you just got to look past the panty hoses on their heads and the gold capped teeth, you just got to really listen to the messages.

Even though Tool's Lateralus had it's moments, I was a little disappointed with it. Ah, fuck the loyalty that I have for Tool, Lateralus sucked ass.

crash0814 You're right, I haven't. My first impression wasn't a good one.

Royal Tenenbaum Anyone that thinks the Dead suck has not heard Workingman's Dead or American Beauty. Both of those albums are masterpieces.

I didn't say it was an insult. I said it was kind of disappointing. First new Ween material in two years, and it's a country album.
Jul 30th, 2003 05:42 PM
crash0814 Oh. Now I feel stupid. Well, your description fit Ween too.
Jul 30th, 2003 05:21 PM
Bobo Adobo I was talking about Radiohead. I think your confusing PCP for LSD.

Don't get me wrong, I like Ween.

I guess I forgot that Grateful Dead wasn't tripped out on PCP. And since when has Ween tried to come up with intelligent lyrics? If you're talking about the newfound "seriousness" on White Pepper, they admitted even that was just a joke, and that they were trying to feign being really deep.
