they already screwed it up AOL released 3 months worth of searches to the public including social security numbers credit card numbers, personal info and thousands of morons searching for childporn, as well as thousands of morons who STILL SUBSCRIBE TO AOL! source: http://www.techcrunch.com/2006/08/06...r-search-data/ Download your own copy for laughs and identity theft here: http://www.gregsadetsky.com/aol-data/ |

DEAR GOD! AOL is trying to stop SUCKING! at their worst they wanted $25 a month for conveluted dial up. Now they offer that for $10, and a hell of a lot more for free. the new free crap powered bya ds rather then assloads of subscritions includes. 1. a 5 gig email account (50 gigs if you pay) 2. Aol security center 3. free video hosting (as if we dont already have tinypic, youtube, google video, etc.) 4. ye olde aol browser, slightly updated. well its always nice to have another browser. It beats the constant spam of the aol discs everywhere and wanting so much money for crap we get free elsewhere. I hardly think they have totally stopped sucking but i'm gonna watch this. For now i'm tentative about this. |
