Pentegarn The last year of Clipper baseball (the Columbus AAA baseball team) in Cooper Stadium is this year. They are getting a new stadium that is a stones throw from Nationwide Arena (where the Columbus Blue Jackets play). Every year, as far back as I can remember, they hold an event known as "Dime a dog night." where they sell hot dogs for 10 cents about three times or so a year. This year however, since they are having their final season at Cooper Stadium, they are holding Dime a Dog night every Monday home game.

I actually would like to go to one last Clippers game on a dime a dog night, as much for the cheap dogs as for the last chance to sit in those stands.

Zomboid Beer and hotdogs are indeed good. Sometimes over here they sell poutines at stadiums too. That is usually the best.

They better damn well taste better too at 4.50 per dog :/
I was just about to post something just like this.

I do agree. I guess the dogs just seem to taste better because they are part of the overall stadium experience. At least for me, you get a dog and a beer around the 2nd inning, then another beer every other inning. And if it's a football game, there is no telling how many beers I'll get, especially if it's a college game.

GADZOOKS I never eat stadium food anymore. I always have a big meal before or after a game, if not both depending on what time the game is played.

People who eat pizza at a ballgame are ridiculous. That stuff is so overpriced that you could get most likely a full pie of that garbage outside the game.

Unless you use it for this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=pJpZ9TFmRS0

WhiteRat I would have to say the Dome Dogs at the Metrodome are pretty damn good. Pretty big dogs with all the free condiments you want. You have to wash it down with a 6 dollar beer or a soda (don't get ice!) to truly enjoy it.

The only time i've had something other than a Dome Dog was a slice of Papa John's pizza during a Twins game. I won't ever make that mistake again.

Best Stadium Food.

For me, it's a brat slathered in hot mustard and sauerkraut. Slap it in between some brotchen and I'm set for the whole game. A close second is a soft pretzel with nacho cheese accompaniment.

Both of which, for me, are quintessential in sports.
