Studio8 I'm sad about the lack of titles up for grabs.
Why no Orlando vs. Booker T?
RAW Tag belts? IC belt?

Drev SMACKDOWN! :O

FAT GUYS WEIGH A LOT AND THE OTHER FAT GUY SQUISHED A JOBBER! :O

Paul London is the new Crusierweight champ and that's a good thing! :D

Eddie is becoming a dick

So is Kurt

And Bob and Randy are becoming the next Chavo and Chavo :X

ON TO WRESTLEMANIA!

DON'T FORGET: SATURDAY IS THE HALL OF FAME CEREMONY AT 11 ON SPIKE! THE HULKSTER WILL BE THERE! :O

Studio8 Thats a pretty avatar

Drev Raw was kinda dull especially the last Raw before WM.

The HHH/Batista Face-off thing was useless

Bischoff is a gimp

Arm wrestling is stupid

That's pretty much it.

Drev I made a new thread for Wrestlemania but someone DELETED IT

Studio8 Where are the fucking updates dude
Mar 15th, 2005 01:35 PM
Drev On Raw:

JAKE THE FUCKING SNAKE ROBERTS! He looked like hell, which is no suprise since I read about the shit he's done in the past. Hopefully he's gotten better. Orton RKO'd him.

Marty Janetty was backstage and suprised the crowd being in a tag team match with HBK for a Rockers reunion. He wasn't bad.

Christy sucks, but Angle gave her an orgasm. :X

Snitsky might be in evolution? :O

HHH finally beat Benoit since a year ago, but with the sucky ending.

BIG DAVE fights Kane next week.

The show was great. They better put the fucking WM 21 comercials on the WM 21 DVD. They're gold.
Mar 13th, 2005 02:19 AM
Drev Jindrak and Reigns are fighting because of the generic tag team split-up: They start sucking, they blame each other and then fight. At least Chavo is making the inevtible Eddy/Rey split-up interesting.
Mar 12th, 2005 04:20 PM
Studio8 I'm confused - why are Jindrak and Reigns fighting? What did I miss?

If they do Eddie vs. Rey, I will be significantly more excited about Wrestlemania. The Big Show match might be funny to watch, but I don't see it being very good.

I'd like to see them put Flair into a match somewhere, also. I like whne he falls.
Mar 11th, 2005 06:00 PM
Drev Ok, they aired SD at 11.

It was dumb. JBL blew up Cena's US title and gave OJ the former US title belt.

Big Show accepts Akebono's challenge for a Sumo match at WM 21.....what?

Stuff happens.

Angle has his first (and very retarded) ladder match against a no name. He trells HBK that when he was in the Rockers, Marty Janetty (sp?) taught him everything, so next week Angle vs. marty. I don't care.

Long ordered Carlito to find UT about the challenge made by Orton. Taker tombstones Carlito and tells him Orton shall rest in peace. Next week Orton will be on SD for a contract signing for the match.

Cena angry and FU'd Long. Dumb.

Tag match between Rey/Eddie and JBL/OJ. Cena interferes. Dumb.

Seriously it was dumb.

Studio8 Same here, I can't see shit

That was kind of my point.

Tonight, Angle beat Shawn's accomplishment of facing Razor Ramone in the first ever ladder match and winning the IC title... by squashing a jobber, climbing the ladder, and taking his medals. Couldn't have been more than 4 minutes. The only thing remotely similar was the fact that a ladder was sort of kind of involved.

And next week, he's facing Marty Janetty (sp?). Marty was Shawn's partner in The Rockers... and, I don't see how beating Marty means Angle is matching HBK's accomplishments. Did Shawn beat Marty? If so, why wasn't it mentioned when Angle briefly touched upon them being a tag team?

I knew this would be a half-assed attempt at telling a story. Back to not watching Smackdown.

Studio8 Angle is already a grand slam champion. He's won more titles that HBK, except I'm not sure if he's won the tag belts yet.

Studio8 That's shitty. I've always really really liked the Wrestlemania IC matches. I was convinced that when Shelton joined the 6 man ladder match, that it would be for the IC title, although the contract is a better, fresher, idea.

I'd like to see a match already get set up for Wrestlemania, get some nice build up behind it, and then the week before WM, one of those guys gets the IC title to raise the stakes of what the audience believed to be a normal match.

As for the tag matches, man I hate it when they just throw ALL the teams together in a match. Especiallly on both brands.

No IC match, no Raw tag match, no US Title match, no Cruiserweight match, no Smackdown tag match.

NONE of those titles have had any offering for a story going into Wrestlemania. At best, we'll get a few quickly thrown-together matches at the last minute.

James Copying and pasting from something I said on another board:

HBK vs Angle feels like they're trying to push a story upon it that would have been better suited a few years ago. The idea of Kurt trying to beat every one of HBK's accomplishments before WM is an intriguing idea... Except, what ARE HBK's accomplishments? Is Kurt gonna have a ladder match with Razor Ramone? Are Kurt, Luther, and Jindrak gonna form a new DX? Is Kurt gonna screw Bret Hart? (Sorry. SORRY.) HBK has an extensive list of wins and has been a part of many landmarks, so it's really hard to say what Kurt is really going to try and do. And while it might be interesting to see what he tries, I also suspect this will be just as half-assed as everything else has been leading up to WM.

Triple H squashing Rosey set up nothing, not even carrying into the backstage segment with Flair (they could have gotten to that same point without feeding Rosey to him). Although I will say Rosey is looking good in the ring these days. But when will he get his OWN theme song?

Speaking of the segment, I was hoping it would flesh out some more of Flair developing a problem with HHH (for real or to try and fool Batista), and while they do VERY lightly tease at Flair not being happy with HHH, it doesn't ever seem like it's gonna come to a head. I'm kind of happy that it won't be a factor into Wrestlemania, but I'd also like to see something start to happen afterwards.

The three matches with the ladder match competitors? No reason for it. When you throw 6 guys like these into a ring with a ladder, you don't really need to have them do anything to build it up any more than that, especially not in the form of three showcase matches that take upa good chunk of the show. But as far as matches go, each one was very good (with Kane/Christian being at the low end, and Benoit's making out with the ladder being a really scary visual).

Randy Orton officially announced his challenge to The Undertaker. He came out to a handful of cheers, which was followed by confusion when he challenged Undertaker, followed by LOTS of booing when he went on about ending Taker's streak. So you'd THINK Randy would be headed for a heel turn with that promising response. But no, he pulls the RKO out on Bischoff (crowd didn't buy into it though). And let's not forget Orton once again showing evidence that his character is supposed to be mildly retarded. "Hey, I heard you used to run WCW. Is that true?" I'd make a joke that Randy probably read that fact in the Smackdown magazine, but I don't believe Randy Orton can even read.

If Lita is training Christy to wrestle, then Trish obviously has nothing to worry about. In the real world, anyway. In the wrestling world, this sadly could set up Christy beating Trish. It also made me uncomfortable to see Christy pull the Twist of Fate on Trish, for a number of reasons.

Nice to see Regal and Tajiri back on Raw... gawking at a Playboy... not wrestling or reminding anyone they're tag champions... and... no, NO it's NOT nice to see them back on Raw. Not nice at all.

The show was alright, but it wasn't what a show weeks before WM should be. My favorite moment was Lawler eating a Subway sandwich. He should eat something every week. It worked for Tommy Dreamer, didn't it? No? OK then.

Studio8 Shouldn't Shelton drop the belt before Wrestlemania? That would be shitty if there was no IC title match.
Mar 9th, 2005 03:20 AM
Drev I am saddened to say that the WWE has lost a great friend.

On Raw of March 7, during the main event of Batista vs. Ric Flair, HHH tried to hit Batsita with his Sledgehammer (considered the unsung member of Evolution), but batista grabbed it in mid-swing, and broke it in half. The WWE sends condolances to the sledgehammer's family and will be missed. RIP SLEDGEHAMMER NEVAH FORGET!

Also Lita's back but to hell with that slut. She and Matt Hardy broke up because Lita was cheating on Hardy with Edge, who at the same time cheated on his wife who is close friend's with Chris Jericho. What I find funny is this actually sounds like a bad angle when infact it's real. The slut.

Also Randy's gonna fight the Undertaker because Taker now hates black people.
Mar 2nd, 2005 12:45 AM
Studio8 I'd like to see Snitsky take a large bump in that match - plus it will give it something to do, instead of sticking him in a shitty one on one match.

What are the plans for Kane? Any idea?

Dude, how sweet would a Christian, Matt Hardy, and Edge stable be?
Mar 1st, 2005 08:52 PM
Drev It'll probably be for the IC Belt. Here's my line up: Jericho, Benjiman, Christian, Edge, Matt Hardy, Hurricane (GIVE THE GUY A DAMN CHANCE! )

if that's not the case, I wouldn't minde see 3 raw stars and 3 SD stars in the match. No team fight, just a free for all.
Mar 1st, 2005 05:42 PM
Studio8 Wow, I missed some of that. Thankfully I caught the Street Fight, which I really liked, but I didn't see the Jericho challenge. That's a smart booking move.
Is Benjamin going to join in to make it for the belt? If not, was there any implication of why they are climbing up the ladder?

Orton/Undertaker would be a smart move also. I'd be very excited about that match.
