RectalWart I have to agree. It's like no matter what W does wrong, he blusters and snorts and says "I had it planned this way all along". I don't think it's blind loyalty so much as an inability to admit when he's going down in flames.

I picture him as that bully, when caught with the dead cat in one hand, and a hammer in the other, vehemently denies that he killed the pussy.

Military Trade Papers VS Potus on Rummy

So, the Military Trade call for Rummy's ouster in pretty non flattering terms right after W. says he's going to keep Rummy (who W says is doing a 'fantastic job') for the rest of the administrations run.

What do you think of this?

To me, this ardent embrace of loyalty over reality is reason all by itself to wrest at least one branch of government from Republican control.
