Actually, belief is the only thing that makes something a myth.

Tadao I know it's hard to believe, but it isn't just the netards that believe.

executioneer lovecraft's shit is Mythopoeia, not myth myths generally have a group of people who believe them to be true associated with them, and "retards on the internet" don't count as such a group

Tadao I say again. If Greeks can have Mythology based on books from Homer, then we can have American Mythology based off books from Lovecraft.

I love the Santa stories, to include the one about the demon butcher and the one where Satan is chained to Santa's back.

He obviously got an urgent summons from the Devil and had to return to Hell. His master was PO'd that he just lost a fiddling contest and revoked his computer privillages.

Ah yes, I just learned of several more strange creatures:

There's the giant bat-thing the Ahool: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahool

Then there's the Wak Wak: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wak_Wak

90's Child An interesting fact, angels can actually be considered on the list of strange mythological monsters. There are the Thrones, which are basically giant glowing wheels covered in eyes, the Seraphim which are basically angels with six wings that just happen to be literally ON FIRE, and the Cherubim which nothing like the cutesey little baby-things one associates with the name but instead have 4 faces (That of a man, ox eagle and lion) and the feet of a calf, allong with 4 wings.

Yeah, angels are weird.
