10,000 Volt Ghost That's a bad margin to lose by.

Colonel Flagg I caught about 30 seconds - enough to know that "Suck" beats "Humor" by about 200-3.

EDIT: It would be better if he would do more calisthenics. :Pushups

I actually want to watch it. Not because I like him or anything...unless he brings up a superbowl W.

Colonel Flagg Instead of "T and A" it's "No-Tee" and "A-hole"

Pentegarn Apparently (This is what I heard on the radio) TO just walks around with his shirt off the whole time

Colonel Flagg You mean it was already cancelled? I didn't even know it aired.

I'd watch it ... at least for a few minutes ... just to see if the humor factor outweighed the suck factor.

Womti in reference to the title of this thread, I would like to conrtibute that it LITERALLY really stinks when no football is on as well.

Colonel Flagg Hey, 10K! Thought you might have seen this little tidbit:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4339268

Even as he tries to reveal another side of himself, Owens is aware that "The T.O. Show" might bring criticism from those who will label it just another exercise in self-promotion.

Pentegarn Pretty much set in stone that Favre is going to the Vikings....

So WhiteRat, what are your thoughts?

Colonel Flagg I'll chime in first, if you don't mind.

Care to chime in with your thoughts regarding this WhiteRat?

Colonel Flagg WR Jeremy Maclin is the newest Eagle. Interesting they flip-flopped with Cleveland to make this pick. Interesting because after Cleveland picked Center Alex Mack, they picked WR Brian Robiskie in the 2nd round. Is this good for the Eagles, the Browns or both or neither? Plus, what considerations did Cleveland get for the flop?

EDIT: A 6th round selection - pretty reasonable. The more I look at this pick, the more I like it. Plus they got LeSean McCoy in the 2nd round. Not a bad first day. For a change.

WhiteRat I'm all smiles now that Percy Harvin is the newest Viking.

WhiteRat Indeed it is. This will be the first draft since 2003 that I won't be watching in it's entirety, as I have a bbq to attend. I'll be able to watch bits and pieces but normally I watch all 7 drafts so this year just won't feel the same.

Anyone going to chime in on Stafford's ridiculous deal with the Lions? 41 million guaranteed!

Pentegarn Draft time soon!!!!

WhiteRat I'm still holding out hope that Brad Childress and the Vikes will swoop in and snatch Boldin away from anyone else's grubby mitts.

Colonel Flagg One of the reasons I miss PacMan - http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4096399

The Eagles and the Ravens duking it out over the best available wideout in this year's trade class. Just like TO 5 years ago.

WhiteRat I'm so excited for the new U of Minnesota football stadium that I felt compelled to share a few pics:

View from the student section:

WhiteRat 2 years into a contract with 3 left? Quit yer whinin' Sheldon!

Colonel Flagg As a vocal critic (around the water cooler) of the Eagle's front office, and recognizing the many public relations disasters perpetuated by this storied (?) franchise, I can truthfully and convincingly say, without fear of retribution:

SHUT UP, SHELDON!

WhiteRat I've been visiting that site for the past 4 drafts. The guy that runs it, Scott Wright, is a former NFL scout (not sure what team or anything like that) that really knows his shit. Best of all, it's free, although the ads that are crammed down your throat are a little too much.

Pentegarn How important s the NFL draft to sports fans you may ask?

Some could argue it is as important as any sports season is, as evidenced by this particular site which has a clock counting down to the NFL draft.

Colonel Flagg Philly trades away three picks, including #28 for LT Jason Peters of the Bills. The sportswriters and talkers around here think this is a great move, but I'm also hearing the Bills faithful aren't unhappy to see his backside going out the door. Apparently he has a BIG EGO which sometimes goes along with big talent, which makes him feel unhappy if he's not getting what HE THINKS he deserves .... so he holds out and is a grumpy gus for the entire 2008 season.

Then again, with the picks the Eagles have made in the past, I guess I'm glad they have a player they can at least pencil in at starting left tackle, rather than another Jermaine Mayberry or Kevin Allen.
