Womti it wasnt bad, so it was worth posting.
Jan 11th, 2006 03:14 PM
Emu I know it was a joke. It was just a stupid, pretentious joke.
Jan 11th, 2006 02:48 PM
kahljorn It was a joke? Geez, I would've never guessed. Thanks guys.
Jan 11th, 2006 02:20 PM
Womti thats why I posted it. it also shows how blind christians are in their faith. "I shall await their second book with great interest." obviously, there is no second book. its a cartoon, so thats what makes it funny!

ziggytrix He's so wrong though! The Book of Mormon was HORRIBLE! Even worse than the last Wheel of Time book, if you can believe that!!!
Jan 11th, 2006 01:37 PM
Womti oh great, NOW someone gets it. jules feiffer is a cartoonist by the way, so I couldnt include the image of the old man holding the bible and speaking. my mistake.

Womti, I realize you're not the smartest person on this boards. You're a little slow. An "imbecile" or "clod," if you will.

Despite that, how the fuck can you read that and not be pissed off at the sheer pretension dripping from that thing? You can't chide Christians for acting pretentious toward you and then turn around and do the same thing to them and call it self-defense. The more you post in this thread, the more obvious it is that you don't have the spiritual, intellectual or logical capacity to defend your choices on matters of faith, and the only reason you seem to be an atheist is because you have some kind of grudge with your conception of God.
Actually, the last line of that exceprt makes me think it's a joke.

Haha, "Second book".

It's not "disrespect" if you haven't earned my respect, you fucking tool. This is exactly what I'm talking about. You can't defend yourself, so you go bitch about people attacking you and try to call the whole thing off before someone can call bullshit on your moronic outlook.

kahljorn "99% of atheists don't just attack Christians for no reason."

This guy sure knows how to push the envelope.

Do atheists really even consider themselves, "Believers"? What do they really believe in, because I know it's not, "Belief in no God", there's got to be something more to it... right?

Why does it matter what the president's religion is? If you want an atheist president simply so he can create benefits for your specific religious outlook, you're just as bad as Christians that want the same thing.

Can we ban this moron now?
