mburbank I don't think your a character. Almost anyone here could come up with a far more three dimensional mask. What you are is one of the zillions of idiots that float around the net like plankton. Shut up.

Kulturkampf BTW: I will have three diff IP addresses; two for my home (sometimes I use wireless, sometimes I get wired in while I am downloading stuff) and one for work; they will all be registered in Korea, of course.

And I am insulted you'd think I was a character -- unless you mean a fun bloke to go drinking with.
Jan 4th, 2006 08:47 AM
KevinTheOmnivore You could use a different one!

ItalianStereotype you're the moderator, check the IP, you dork.

It is my first language...

And I am not a foreigner...

I have lived in Korea for about six months now and before that studied Korean for a year and a half. I guess I do not use English as much as I used to and have been immersed very much.

Kulturkampf Haha... I am glad that amidst being pretentious a point was found.

I will do my best to live up to my pretentious nature. And then it can cease to be pretentious.

ItalianStereotype he has a point though!

I swear to all the gods above that that post sounded more pretentious than anything OAO has ever posted... well, maybe not, but that was a damn pretentious post.

Oh, and I thought you said "phallus", not "phalanx".

bright days are ahead, buddy.
We fought that war when we were a united body with a strong culture and strong values as a people.

Now we are a culture of L-O-S-E-R-S.

Even the fucking Korean youth have organizations like Buminryun, and they have more loyalty to the enemy than their own government. They view the most valuable allie of the United States, who kept us from becoming a terrible Communist state, as the actual threat to peace.

The absurdity of it frustrates me too much.

Our society is collapsed and dead, and we will never be put back together again. We are the past and China is the future because they have cultural solidarity, and because their society is willing to fight for something.

We will never wage a successful war against them because USA is too weak in its' culture.

The culture of the warriors has passed, and we now have a culture of the wusses. No one wants to break the eggs to make an omelette, and in fact, it is apparently immoral to eat poultry.

We've lost.

I am the last of the Old Guard. You won't see me again.

I think the opponents will try very hard, and they may even score a lot of points against him, but how much of it will stick?

Pres. Bush has done things you do not like, but can one necessarily say that all of these things are solely his doing, and trying to pin Abramoff on him or trying to pin a lot of the issues facing GOP on him is pretty wrong.

Things seem so intensified since the second term of Pres. Clinton. Since the Republican Renaissance of the mid-nineties politics has become the worst batch there is in the US, entirely rooted in scandal.

My theory: since the end of the Cold War the American people feel no necessity in unity behind their President. So politics becomes dirty.

Kulturkampf I think it will not be any tougher than 2001-2005.

During these years he had to deal with terrorism and foreign threats, as well as had to deal with an economy that was perceptibly damaged after the largest attack on US soil in history since the Civil War, (technically Pearl Harbor was not an attack on US soil, but rather an attack on a US territory being Hawaii was not yet a state).

It will be nothing new.

More slop politics, and that is it.

Blasted Child We keep hearing about those CIA-flights on the news all the time.

They appear out of nowhere, grab some unexpecting bloke in the middle of nowhere, put shackles and a diaper on him, sedates him and then off they go to some third world torture chamber.

At least they get to see the world, them CIA-agents.

2006 Looks to be a difficult year for W

In the first days and months of 2006

British police will begin their investigation into the use of British airports as stopovers for CIA extroadinary renditions.

The EU's investigation into secret 'black site' CIA prisons will take place

A bipartisan investigation into NSA unwarrented surveilance approved thirty times by the President will begin.

Scooter Libby's trial.

Jack Abramoff's (Who is reportedly close to a plea bargain) trial.

Tom Delays trial.

Renewed congressional pressure for a bipartisan report on manipulation of pre-war intelligence.

Yesterday, John Dean, Nixons counsel and a man familair with Presidential abuse of power, said W was the first president to publicly admit to an impeachable offense.

The Nixonization of the Bush administration is already underway.
