FCE, VirtualNES or LoopyNES DON'T use NESticle! it has been the most popular NES emulator for too many years, but the truth is that that emulator isn't very accurate. believe me, try those i named |

FCEUltra.. I use FCEUltra for regular emulation.. NESticle won't run any roms for me, otherwise I'd use that. But for online emulation, I use Jnes with a Kaillera (sp?) client. I don't know where I got it from, but if you're interested, drop me an IM at innervis10n. |

NESten- I use this because it has a built in hacking system, which helped me beat 'sweet home' NESticle- For some reason my computer will cut the sound off on my emuolators, except this one. NESter- The easiest emulator to use for nes, and the first one I ever dealed with. |

Emu | NESter and NESter Unofficial with mapper support. Whatever lets me play Gradius II.

Perndog | NESticle sure does work online...I used to play a lot of Bomberman 2 with my friends. I'm not sure about multiplayer, but two worked fine for me.

Esuohlim | I use NESticle. But then again, I'm not picky. Anything that lets me play goddamned SMB3 is good enough for me.

Mockery | NESter is my personal favorite right now, followed by NESticle.

Generator86 | I use NEStron and VirtuaNES. I would only use NEStron but it won't play Mike Tyson's PunchOut, hence getting VirtuaNES.

Cap'n Crunch | Is there any NES emulator that lets you have online play? I know there are a few SNES emulators that have that.

There are four. In no particular order: 1. RockNES 2. NNNEsterJ 3. FCE Ultra 4. NESten all of them are good, but the reason I would recommend getting all four is because not all roms will work with just one emulator. All four emulators will play about 90 percent of all the roms you'll find, but the 10 percent they don't play is different for each emulator |

I used to use JNes, until I found out there was better. I know ONE emulator has a "Rewind" button. I used it to beat SMB3. |
