As for Auf Der Maur, I loved the huge sweeping sounds of the music, and the vocals on songs such as "Real a Lie" and "I Need I Want I Will" are stellar. There were some songs on there that I didn't like, but overall I've found that album on my replay list quite often and I'm definitely looking forward to future releases from the band. Bad Religion's latest album was also a big one for me and their live show had just as much high energy as ever. Those guys never seem to let me down. |

Green Day - "American Idiot" gets my vote easily. Auf Der Maur was also a nice surprise. |

I didn't listen to any new albums this year, caught up with kinda old ones. Boards Of Canada's "Geogaddi" was pretty incredible. |

Helm | 2003's record is Kayo Dot - Choirs of the Eye easily. I didn't get a lot of 2004 music, but cerberus shoal -cerberus shoal is a good pick | ||
