Interesting thought, since both "Midlife Crisis" and "A Small Victory" were top 20 hits. Hell, "Midlife Crisis" was #1 for several weeks. "Everything's Ruined" was even released, but didn't chart.

Either way, Angel Dust is definitely my favorite FNM album. I skipped school to grab a copy opening day, and have gone through 4 since.

Rygar-Man I love the part in caffeine where the song kinda shifts into a native "american indian" rhythm with the bass and keyboard, I mean this album is so weird but sheer brilliance. Crack Hitler is also great.
I think it is also my favorite FNM album, although I like some of the more obscure tracks of the Real Thing such as "The morning after", "Woodpecker from Mars" as well. Overall a very interesting group with a combination of elements.

Mockery It's truly a unique album, but I'm amazed you didn't mention Malpractice as that was always my favorite track on it followed by Caffeine.

DaJoker THE GREATEST ALBUM Ever made, I still listen to this at least once a week and have had to buy it three times (although one was a cassette. Jizzlober is a true masterpiece and Caffenine just rocks.

Styled Executioner I am a huge FNM fan, seriously, I absolutely love FNM. I'm so pleased that I've heard, from an American, that Angel Dust is there masterpiece, their crowning glory if you will.

Seriously, every American who's a FNM fan preffered The Real Thing over all the other albums. I love the Real Thing (Underwater Love is a particular favourite of mine, the dark undertones are sublime) but Angle Dust is a top notch album. The album was my starting point into metal, since it was the most extreme thing I'd heard at the time (I mean the more extreme metals, I've always loved Maiden and stuff). I wanted The Real Thing after hearing it in 1995 (I was 6 at the time) and got Angel Dust, I was blown away.

FNM were really my first love of music, I don;t think I'd have been such a big music lover today if not for them.

I order of most favourite to least favourite (least favourite used very lightly)

Angel Dust
King For a Day
The Real Thing
Album of the Year

Ozzie I once had a drunk woman demand that I buy this album after I exited a concert next to the bar she had just exited. Then she offered me a cigarette.

Nick The band members sure haven't done much since the break up.

Purple Man This has always been my favourite FNM album. For me, the "bizarre stand-out track" was the curiously named "Jizzlobber", which seems to come from a very dark place in Patton's mind.

And that cover of the "Midnight Cowboy" theme is cool too.

GRUMPYNZ Faith no More rock. I'm probably more of a fan of The Real Thing though, than Angel Dust. Still, its definitely a great album.
