Man, I finally got around to watching this. The kid getting eaten was the funniest damned thing in the movie. Sure, they were trying too hard, but it kicks the shit out of every other recent horror movie I've seen. Besides, anything in the vein of There's Nothing Out There is a hit in my book. |

Bah! I enjoyed it its been too long since a good fun flick with lots of blood. The only real complaint I had was that for all the kills the monster were never actualy shown eating anyone, you'd think that there would be nice shots of the monsters biting people rather than have a kids legs kicking from under a blanket. and RoG is totaly right Henry Rollins rocked, he also had probably the best kill in the movie. |

RectalWart | I saw it a few days ago. It was entertaining, but I wouldn't place it amongst the "greats". Probably not amongst the "real goods". Let's file it with the "oks". :/ | |

Hah, I'm not sure that's the word I would use to describe it. We just watched it tonight. Re got bored with it and went to bed; Boogie and I stayed up to finish the movie. The whole "character profile" thing to introduce each character was annoying as shit, a lot of the movie felt like they were trying too hard. In fact, the only part I thought was good was when the girl was beating the monster in the face at the end until all of its teeth were knocked out and then she rammed her entire arm down its throat and yanked out some guts. Other than that, it clearly was trying to be funny like evil dead, but failing miserably for the most part. They were fools not to give Henry Rollins a larger role in the movie, because his character was by far the best thing about it. |
