Kitsa Well, seeing who David Tennant married, I think he's intent on creating a master timelord race.

I liked them all except for Colin Baker, who at all times came off as a smug bastard. Tom Baker was "my" doctor, the one I grew up with and watched with my friend on her shitty basement TV when Doctor Who was on PBS late at night.

I did enjoy the fact that they chose a clever, but not particularly young or rakishly handsome, next Doctor. I'm hoping that will elevate it back out of the stupid-fangirl zone and make it more like it used to be. It used to be that nerds like myself were actual social outcasts and not something an idiot aspires to in order to be trendy.

BigChris The last 2 Doctors were pretty good, (Colin Fucking Baker looked good next to Eccleston,) but neither hold a candle to Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker or even Peter Davison.

Kitsa You should have seen the giant fucking explosion of fap when he married River Song.

He's a nice enough doctor, I guess. I still prefer Tom Baker.

Mike Tobacco I leave here to write a few Doctor Who stories where he finally gets with Amy and everyone starts talking behind my back. I see how it is.

Zomboid I hate the fans because they're so fucking ubiquitous now. I like checking a couple of those teefury sort of sites on a nightly basis, and it's insane how nuts those people go for even the most pandering, nonsensical, or just plain stupid references to the show in t-shirt form. IT'S DR.WHO MEETS STAR WARS AND A DALEK IS R2!

Then some dipshit inevitably posts that fucking Fry money image.

Kitsa I remember doing some search for hockey scores and stumbling upon someone's erotic fanfic for the freaking Columbus Blue Jackets.

In it, she was the sister of one of the guys...Rusty Klesla, I think...and they were all over for...a sleepover, or something? I looked it up and it's gone now. Something about her playing seven minutes in heaven with all the players. It was really fucked up.

Aaarg The weirdest thing about erotic fanfiction is that it's not even limited to mainstream/fad-popular shows. You'd be surprised at how many have been written sex scenes for Keeping Up Appearances.

Poor Richard.

Kitsa
I like Doctor Who, but holy hell do I hate the fans.

Been on board with Doctor Who since fucking 1980. I hate the new crop of fans that came in with the eleventh incarnation. Hate them. Just watch the damn show and stop writing fucking creepy erotic fanfic about it. We didn't pull that shit over Tom Baker.

"Team Rory", stfu.
