My suggestion to you is "The raven and the rose by My Dying Bride." It's fairly simple but a great song overall.

Oh and Master's apprentices by Opeth.

Diseased Children of Bodom - (pretty much anything)
But since you are such a guitar hero, you could start from, say,
Black Widow.

sspadowsky Shit, Rongi kinda beat me to it. I was going to say 'anything from Al DiMeola's Casino album.' Like, uh.... I think it's called "Fantasia Suite for Two Guitars."

Immortal Goat You should record what you do and put it online so we can actually hear what you are doing with this.

CaptainBubba I am only doing these at a moderate speed right now. It will become even slower when I have less free time

Song 1: Phantasmagoria - Annihilator (I picked the one whose first riff was most enjoyable to me)

Ease: 7 out of 10

Difficulties: Keeping track of what you are supposed to play next and not starting an incorrect pattern was the hardest part of this. I'm not so good at death-metally songs because of this and other reasons.

Fun: That being said this song is fun to learn and play. Its pretty catchy too. I enjoyed it.

General Awesomeness: I feel I would have felt better about this one if I had a functional distortion pedal to play it with (do not buy cheap ass $30 pedals online...). Its got some nice little riffs and just like books with small chapters it makes you feel accomplished for having done almost nothing.

Big Papa Goat Candlemass- Under the Oak
It's supposed to be easy, but I haven't been able to get it after like a year of trying on and off, I can't play by ear worth a shit

CaptainBubba Song 1: Freeker by the Speaker - Keller Williams

Ease: 5 out of 10

Difficulties: This is the kind of song I consider myself good at playing. Despite this, man it was hard to get the timing right and have even a semi-decent rythym going. I still personally don't think I can even play this well nessecarilly just because of the myriad of ways I can mess up.

Fun: If you like to move your fingers fast and give a visual sense of being a massive guitar faggot this song is for you.

General Awesomeness: Learning this song was alot like being assigned a paper that you don't have anything against but also don't have any great inspiration to finish. It was hard to keep on learning it because songs like this aren't very satisfying for me to learn. To me the best part about learning a song is when you can finally play it reasonably well and recognize it in its entirety. There is little recognizability ot me with songs like this because of the spastic nature of them. In the same vien I don't like Ani Difranco or artists like that either very much. : /
