Fathom Zero It's like a corruption of Mad Libs!

Cfr5 Might as well replace "then" with "than", "threw" with "through", and "real" with "reel" to make it even more so convoluted.

Sethomas Then replace "threw" in the original quote with "ejaculate" and then replace "The Naked Gun" with "Jurassic Park" and you'll have a surreal mental image with no real basis in reality!

Replace "wig" with "pillow" and you also get a scene in The Naked Gun!

Fathom Zero That trailer had "Roger Corman" written all over it.

Clint Howard's a creepy looking dude.
I love the Home Alone soundtrack.

Sacks He should just make one big pile of shit movie that reveals angry psychotic white trash and tits were behind all of the greatest horror moments, and then at the end when everyone is killing each other and fucking and Sheri Moon is going down on Frankenstein and the Wolfman while their father drinks bourbon and screams at them the trailer can open up into an unbelievable display of lights and sounds as it begins to lift them all into the night sky all while Bela Lugosi's Dead is reaching a glorious crescendo. Finally it ends with Robert Englund waking up in a cold sweat and clutching his face as he realizes IT WAS ONLY A NIGHTMARE.

Sorry, poorly worded on my part - Re-Animator has yet to be remade. I just meant that I miss the black humour that a lot of 80s horror flicks had. Another one I love is Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, where Leatherface is more of a goofy, horny weirdo than a menacing killing machine.

MarioRPG Why doesn't he just remake Night Of The Living Dead and get it over with.
Nov 10th, 2007 03:47 PM

Nov 10th, 2007 03:04 PM

MarioRPG Bud the C.H.U.D had a lot to do with a CHUD in a basement and a dog.

I see.

I have nothing against remakes - some of the best horror movies have taken an existing premise and "re-imagined" it, right? The Thing, The Fly, numerous Frankenstein monster movies...etc...

Eyelobe From what I have heard, this is an unfounded rumour. The Stuff, Ghoulies, Puppetmaster and Gremlins are also so far safe from this remake madness. We can rest well...for now...

Friday the 13th IS being remade, though. That is true

Rumor has it that C.H.U.D II: Bud the Chud was originally written as a sequel to Return of the Living Dead. It is really bad, but sort of fun.

CHUD II TRAILER

The stuff is well worth a review. I forgot how over the top it was.

MarioRPG Oh no, now there will be two versions of C.H.U.D in the bargain bin!!!

(Not including the sequel)
Ps, that's where I bought my copy of C.H.U.D

Mockery I tried convincing Boogie it was well worth reviewing this Halloween season, but he went with the Dead Heat movie instead. I'm gonna have to review that movie myself sometime, cuz The Stuff is awesome. No horror collection should be without it.
