I just stopped watching completely after the ep with the monkeys in the diamond mines.
That's funny because I did the exact same thing.

Skulhedface Personally, I agree with Mockery. I was more looking forward to the M..wC Reunion than the Simpsons. I just stopped watching completely after the ep with the monkeys in the diamond mines.

And yes, the THS was better, but still, I couldn't EVER get enough of dem damn Bundys. I still watch it on FX.

Of course, I still watch the Simpsons, but that's because our local FOX affiliate shows the old eps@9pm Monday-Saturday.

Zbu Manowar Catch that Conan episode with Dan Casteneta (sp) and Harry Shearer? Now that's funny as sin...makes you wish Conan was still writing for it. Fuck....

El Blanco The best Simpsons episode ever was when the voice actors were on Inside the Actor's Studio or whatever that show is called. I laughed my ass off.

DiRt GuY The 'Requiem for a Dream' parody in the rib sandwhich episode was quite clever.
Feb 17th, 2003 12:46 PM
Zomboid Fucking horrible. I laughed maybe once, which is more than usual with these new episodes.
Feb 17th, 2003 03:45 AM
Zbu Manowar I loved that THS Married episode. Michael Moye is my new hero...damn shame Ron Leavitt didn't do it, through. Seeing them interact would probably be entertaining in itself.

Jixby Phillips Pretty much a clipshow with forgettable bits of the cast reminising. I was hoping for a little more insight on the show. You could get that from the E! True Hollywood story. Still entertaining though.
Feb 17th, 2003 12:59 AM
Zbu Manowar Me either. I saw the promo and it just looked like the regulars were there just blabbing about the show and showing clips. I'd just rather they do an actual last episode as opposed to just doing cheap shit like this.

Watching the actual show and True Hollywood Story about the show is better than that.

Mockery How was the Married With Children reunion? I didn't see it.
Feb 17th, 2003 12:18 AM
Ninjavenom That's cuz the ones tonight were pretty good compared to the rest.
Feb 17th, 2003 12:17 AM
mew barios still better than anything else on network tv. imo.
Feb 17th, 2003 12:13 AM
Jixby Phillips I haven't gotten to watch very much of this season at all because I almost always have to work Sunday nights, but I got to watch tonight. They aren't THAT bad. :/

JeefGyle it actually pained me to watch the simpsons. I havent seen new ones in a while, but now bart and homer aren't even the same characters really
Feb 16th, 2003 10:17 PM
BlueOatmeal or the part when cletus said "If you keep eating baby theys gonna take yer foot." Hardy Har Har! but other than a couple of other momnets the 300th episode wasnt really all that good. It was a tad bit overhyped, but hey it FOX you know how they do

But the Married with Children reunion was pretty neat.
Feb 16th, 2003 09:53 PM
mew barios when bart said he wanted to get emancipated and homer said 'but don't you LIKE being a dude? !!' i laughed. shut up.
Feb 16th, 2003 09:02 PM
Rongi After watching the two newest episodes, I refuse to watch any more new episodes
Feb 16th, 2003 09:00 PM
AChimp I barely laughed.
Feb 16th, 2003 08:25 PM
ItalianStereotype not quite, but these new simpsons are fucking horrible.
Feb 16th, 2003 08:18 PM
noob3 So far, this has been the worst simpson's episode ever.
Feb 16th, 2003 01:59 PM
Zbu Manowar Or those three magic words which means the episode is crap: Ian Maxtone-Graham. The man couldn't produce or write to save his life and was actually petty enough to slam detractors in the episode.

Give it time. I really don't give a fuck if I miss a new episode anymore. I used to watch it religiously but if you see enough new episodes you'll just get turned off from anything over season 10 completely.
