Pentegarn I liked it. Sure it was unrealistic, but who cares? Besides, you have to love a movie that has the most irony packed line in the history of movies in it. Alec Baldwin saying, "I love the Patriot Act" was priceless. I wonder how many takes it took him to do that without a wince on his face :P

Fathom Zero One of the best movies I've seen in a very very very long time.

I'd heard from every single one of my friends that it was really good and whenever they advertise it they mention all the awards and things, so I figured that it'd have to be at least watchable. It was but I don't think I'll ever watch it again and I'm upset that I wasted a dvd to burn it.

Fathom Zero I want to see this still.

I'm gonna rent it this weekend and watch it with my best pal.

arg_zombies I think it is becase it was hyped up, so didn't meet everyone's expectations
Mar 26th, 2007 06:14 PM
timrpgland That wasn't Kenan Thompson.

Anyway, so why do internet people not like this movie anymore? Cause it won an Oscar? Cause it's overrated? I thought it had a good cast, well acted, well written and an interesting movie to watch even if it was a little slow. Not every movie is going to change your life or whatever.

arg_zombies did he? I didn't notice him in it

Blue Fox The fat black guy from Keanen and Kel died.
Mar 22nd, 2007 09:14 AM
arg_zombies I thought that the ONLY good bit in it was at the end when it's just some kind of headshot fest :D
Mar 10th, 2007 01:06 PM
GADZOOKS It wasn't nominated, brain-drain.

Letters from Iwo Jima was a really good movie and I won't say should have won, because I'm not on the fag committee. I liked Little Miss Sunshine more, but come on, that was Lampoon's Vacation 2007.
Mar 10th, 2007 11:48 AM
Jeff The Ninja Yeah, i truly believe that Martin Scorsese was given a pity oscar for this one. Pans Labrynth should have taken it.
Mar 10th, 2007 06:24 AM
Zomboid Yeah, not only was the ending pretty predictable after the first head shot, but the whole thing played out like sketch comedy.
Mar 9th, 2007 07:30 PM
Blue Fox it was like that ep. of south park where they become Jr. Detectives and go to the Peppermint Hippo Strip Club undercover and in the end all the cops end up shooting each other and the last one shoots himself.
