day 1-approximately 21: i have a runny nose
day 22: i wake up with a sorethroat, figure i should stay home so i can get some stuff done (and stay away from jerks); sorethroat gradually turns into "wheeze wheeze wtf i cant breath very well"
day 23: i call my work @ 4am cause i can't get to sleep with all the coughing (is it replicating pods, no at least i hope not); fall back asleep until 9 and then go get coughdrops and nyquil and the type of tylenol sinus they make meth outta; am awake until ~ 5pm and then do not wake back up permanently until 2 am
day 24: probably will call off work again :(

I think achewood is all right, but I regularly read about 4 comics that are way better.

it is a comic about sarcastic dogs that really just 'hangs out' and doesn't go anywhere. you are considered cool if you like it.

I may look at such a thing when my laziness wears away.

Most of the humor come from characterization rather than straightforward punchlines, which I tend to get more enjoyment out of in any medium in the long run (coincidentally you are also considered cool if you like Arrested Development >:)

If you can find it, Lio is decent. It's in my hometown paper, and the humor vaguely reminds me of The Far Side.

As far as syndicated strips go, Willie and Ethel still cracks me up, too.

For my money, Nonsequitur is the best newspaper comic that's still around. Dilbert, Foxtrot, and the Boondocks are pretty good, too.
