Tell me something, Ricky. What exactly makes me "stupid?" Criticising you for making a nonsensical ad hominem attack against a generalization of people?

Tell me something. What's the difference between what you said:

Rightfully so, I think that John Kerry will be the one to "Take home the gold".

and what HNICPantitude said:

HNICPantitude cited a source. You did not.

HNICPantitude gave a figure from that source. You said:

You made a guess based off of "all the people[sic] who hate W," a sweeping generalization (and the stupidest thing you've said so far.) Just because you disagree with Bush's policies doesn't mean you hate him.

Since you decided to venture into this board and spread your sparkling rapier wit and stunning political insight with us, I have a few questions in response to your post.

Where did you come up with the 58-42 per cent figure?

What makes you think "abortion lovers" will all necessarily vote for Kerry?

What makes you think all blacks will vote for Kerry?

What makes you think all of the Middle Class and lower income bracket will vote for Kerry?

Emu Oct 15th, 2004 08:04 PM

I should add that I'm neither conservative nor Republican, nor will I be voting for Bush. So I'm not disagreeing with your political standpoint, but I do find fault with the attitude you seem to have that Republicans must necessarily be the "liar party."

ziggytrix Oct 15th, 2004 08:17 PM

I've already voted.

Remember, vote early, vote often!

Ricky Glue Oct 16th, 2004 01:31 AM

First off-Bush said that the Blacks were "mean to him" and they wouldn't "listen to reason", so in response, Bush hasn't been to an NAACP convention...in...hmmmm...ever. THUS he has LOSt the black vote in general. I'm sure you understand.

Scondly-Kerry has made it quite clear on his platform that he will not do away with abortions due to the fact that he won't force his beliefs on the American public by using his "alter boy religion" to put laws into effect that not everyone will agree with, which is how he's got the "abortion lover's" vote. *note-abortion lovers pizza is NOT similar to meat lovers pizza*

Third-58-42 was a rough guesstimate based on MSNBC, CBS, FOX, and ABC online voting polls. I'm not going to link to every one of those sites, but you know the web addresses so feel free to go and check them out at your own free will.

Fourth-Kerry pointed out SEVERAL times that he wants the lower/middle class to have such wonders as: Options in Helathcare equivelant to those in congress, better minmum wages by almost 2 dollars extra, removing of wealthy tax cuts so they will pay like everyone else (afterall, the poor HATE the rich...and for good reason), etc.

I hope these answer your glorious questions, Cap'n Stupid.

PS-I use the word stupid like NONE before...which is why when I say it-it really means something!

If you ever write a book about politics Ricky I already thought of the name: Politestical

Emu Oct 16th, 2004 12:16 PM

Ricky, I had a nice, long response typed up for you to choke on, but while I was checking MSN, FOXNews, CBS, and ABC websites to see if I could find the information you failed to provied, ABC.com crashed Mozilla. So I'll leave it at this: I didn't find jack that was even moderately close to the 58-42 figure on any of those websites (while they were working.) I'm afraid I'll have to sit here and continue to accuse you of pulling shit out of your ass until you give me some kind of tangible evidence that what you say is true. And don't use that "you can look it up yourself" excuse next time, because you're just making me look all the worse for arguing with you. And believe me, I did look, and I found nothing supporting your claim, except for one MSNBC article that had a similar figure for foreign support of Kerry. If that's what you meant, then which of us is truly "Captain Stupid" here? I'm waiting for your response, which I'm sure will earn you the last gold star you need to be promoted to Admiral Dumbfuck.

Ricky Glue Oct 16th, 2004 12:43 PM

WELL WELL WELL!!! First off, it seems that I had indeed answered your other questions just fine seeings is that this is the only one you still have problems with, so I'll go ahead and admit victory on 3/4 of this verbattle from the get go. Next, before I give you some more information, I'd just like you to know that Mozilla CERTAINLY qualifies you for the stupid olympics on the interweb...and seeings is how you are already winning the dumbass race, I put 500 bucks on you for victory, so don't let me down Champ.

Moving on...

Senator Kerry's performance Friday night had him dominating most of the online polls. Among the major polls (as of 5 PM Saturday), Kerry led at 88% on Newsday, 85% on CBS, 65% on MSNBC, and 44% on ABC. The candidates tied 50-50 in the traditionally conservative AOL poll, which is itself a good sign.

The Bush Campaign hit their entire email list to stack the Fox and CNN polls. Make sure that you vote in them yourself to help offset this.

In the regional polls: as of noon Saturday, Kerry led at upwards of 85% in the Denver Post and Florida Sun-Sentinal, and by 65% in the LA Times poll. The Senator is at 75% on the Cleveland News Channel 5 and 72% on St. Louis Today.

That is the site that will also send you to where you need to go. I am not going to EVERY single site and wasteing my time for an EMUlation of such incredible Jack-Assery (yes, I just made that up). I have made all of my points very clear and if you want to know more..fuckin read Kerry's site- www.johnkerry.com and look at information given there for any other questions you have.

Now, in conclusion-choke on THAT, STUPID.

glowbelly Oct 16th, 2004 02:15 PM

um, sticky person? i'm pretty sure those polls were about the DEBATE, not the election.

Emu Oct 16th, 2004 02:22 PM

Yes, those were about the presidential debate, not the election. No wonder I couldn't find anything on it. You didn't even use the correct terms. I will respond to the rest of your replies later, when I have time to sift through your baseless generalizations.

And since you mentioned Kerry's website, I'll ask you this: Don't you think they just might be the least bit biased?

AChimp Oct 16th, 2004 02:39 PM

All of those polls let people from around the world vote. :/

Ricky Glue Oct 16th, 2004 02:47 PM

Yes, I will take fault in saying that I meant debate and not election. But since u can't edit at this stupid site, it doesn't really help much. Either way, Achimp, I don't think that half of Europe and Papa New Guinea are exactlly visiting MSNBC regularly to vote on debates. I'm gonna go ahead and assume that Kerry's larger percentages were not given to us by such wonderous contries as new Zeland and Zimbabwe.

AChimp Oct 16th, 2004 02:50 PM

Yeah, but don't you think that people from around the world visit those sites for INFORMATION about the debates? Hmm? And that when a poll is smacked right in your face, people usually vote just to see the results out of curiousity?

No, of course not. You're too busy filling out polls on what kind of Pokemon you are.

Ricky Glue Oct 16th, 2004 03:14 PM

Only cuz Chojin recommended it. And I think Matt Harty agreed.

executioneer Oct 16th, 2004 04:12 PM

that was sarcasm, bud

Ricky Glue Oct 17th, 2004 04:09 PM

Did I mess something up there? I don't see it.
