Are those new Pokemon games any good? Does anybody here even play Pokemon?
|
I've played Red when it came out. Once there was more than 151 I lost interest.
|
The new games are basically the same as the old ones, except with more Mons to Poke. That, and they revamped the combat and stat system, though if you aren't OCD about that shit, you might not tell the difference. Well, aside from the fact that attacks are now grouped as Physical or Special.
Oh, and online battling and trading means I can stalk children without having to walk all the way to the playground with my DS. |
Call of Duty : Black Ops is made by Treyarch. This is horrible news. :(
|
You didnt like world at war?
|
world at war is my favorite call of duty to date
I'm not sure what to think of black ops yet though. |

e3 for nintendo is going awful. the zelda demonstration is going terribly. they are having "interference" issues with the wii motion plus or something and i literally just watched miyamoto point the bow and arrow at the ground for like 15 seconds. no one seems impressed |

Oh poor Nintendo.

Suddenly, Kirby, Donkey Kong Country, Golden Sun, Kid Icarus, 3DS, and every 3rd party under the sun comes in and makes Nintendo's press event fucking awesome.
Awesome conference. Sony played it safe with interesting (but not totally exciting, save for Twisted Metal) sequels and their remote, but their show was still pretty solid. Microsoft's was just a total joke though. EA had a pretty good show this year, but the less said about Ubisoft, the better. But Nintendo just showed games, and their new tech looks really good. They brought back a lot of franchises that kinda disappeared (Kirby hasn't seen a proper platformer on consoles since N64, DKC died back on the SNES, Golden Sun was presumed to be forgotten, and Kid Icarus as a launch title for the 3DS is really neat) and the support for the new handheld is really impressive (MGS? Resident Evil? Shin Megami Tensei?) It's about time Nintendo had a strong showing for E3. And I'll even give them the benefit of the doubt for Zelda (unless hands-on reports from blogs prove otherwise). Nintendo: A- Sony: B+ Microsoft: D EA: B Ubisoft: D |
Yeah, I didn't realize how powerful the 3DS was. A remake of Snake Eater? Holy shit.
|
Oh shit that Kid Icarus is on the 3DS?
|
By the way, the 3DS looks like garbage, design-wise. The thing's gonna be a chintzy piece of plastic like the smaller DS and I saw the case flex a lot while people were handling it. Ugh.
