Call of Duty: Black Ops
 

I'm hooked on Demolition. I've been Galil'ing fools left and right lately but I'm trying out the sniper rifles now.

Also, the Zombies cutscene is amazing. Not sure if you need to beat the game to view it though.

The campaign was better in Modern Warfare 2, but the multiplayer is significantly better. I've won every game but two so far.

That's because you haven't played against me yet.

If MW2 had a better campaign then this one must be bad. :\

I loved Modern Warfare 2's. The parts with the Marine's being deployed to the suburbs was AWESOME.

MW2's campaign was indeed fun, but the whole story was fucking stupid. At least CoD4 had a decent storyline to go along with its awesome. Black Ops has a different set up from previous games in that you see almost all the events as flashbacks from one person while he is being interrogated by some mysterious group. I think its a better, less disorienting way of telling a story.

Except I hated the core of Black Ops' story. Stupid stupid stupid stupid.

This is what I was getting at. Lots of the levels in MW2 were fun, nothing like sniping some Russkies from the roof of a Taco Bell :lol , but the story was crap.

My brother says that MW1 has the best campaign. IDK cause I never played MW1.

I have to admit, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare did have a really really great campaign. A perfect mix of epic moments and decent story-telling.

I love the idea of Pripyat, so those levels were fantastic. Also, escaping Vorkuta and the ship in Black Ops was fun.

I've only played CTF once but it was fun. Just got to level 41. I've yet to play the campaign but just bought it yesterday.

I captured the flag last night but I brought it back to home base and it wouldn't do anything for some reason. Marathon and Lighweight Pro are awesome for CTF.

you have to make sure your flag is at your base before you can truly capture the enemies flag, that is probably what happened.

Have you played Dead Ops Arcade Steve from the main menu? Its like Smash TV.

yeah it's pretty fun, but I mostly just stick to the online MP

The first 40 levels were easy to get through. I've been struggling with levels 40-50 though. Its fun and it you buy the game you get two days free of xbox live gold.

Leveling up is a breeze until about level 35, then it starts to drag.

Demolition in nuketown is past ridiculous.

I just played a lot of the wager match where you get a crossbow, ejectable knives, and tomahawks.

Is there a mode where everyone just gets the shittiest pistol with only one clip?

I didn't like the implications about your character at the end of Black Ops. I mean, I saw it coming, but I still didn't like it.

I figured it out about two missions in with Reznov when he would literally appear out of nowhere and no other character would acknowledge him.

Pissed me the fuck off.

I still haven't started the campaign.

New map pack. It's a whole new game, practically. The flamethrower is badass.

It looked like just a few new levels and a flamethrower. I tried the black ops flamethrower and wasn't overly impressed with it.

Steve, I need to cap da flag 11 more times and get some first bloods for marathon pro. Since you're the expert on cappin flags what are some good advices. ?

Well, so does Call of Duty DLC.:\ Yet another reason why I don't have the game.

Back in the WaW days the ting to do was to pick it up then drop some betties behind you on your way back to your flag. Anyone following you would be blown to bits. Well 2 people anyway.

That's usually what I do with claymores. Put them down a path I plan on running back through facing them. So when they chase me they get exploded.

The Jammer works pretty well too if you place it near their flag ahead of time that way they shouldn't see you on their radar right away when you grab their flag.

I always place my claymore on our flag. then try to find a path that is a little out of the way, and when you get near their flag be careful because there is always someone waiting for you. lightweight and marathon are key, as well as a sub machine gun.

I've been using lightweight pro, marathon and ....can't remember perk 2 pro name. It lets you aim from the hip with better accuracy. I have off tomorrow so I'll hopefully be playing tonight a lot.
