I didn't know what forum to put this in, so I guess this is as good as any. If it is wrong, then Mods, feel free to move it.

Anyhoo, this is my first ever flash drawing of anything. Whaddaya think?

Eyebrows are not attached to someone's head like that.

The left ear is longer than the right.

The eyes are not right. They look off. Too close together, maybe.

A neck is not a solid block. It's curved.

The jaw extends far beyond his ear. That is wrong. It should stop before his ear. In fact, the earlobe is juuuust behind the jaw.

The problem is that they're the same size, so the one that's farthest away will look bigger because of the perspective.

It's probably better placed in Art Shit. Anyway, I take it you copied and mirrored the ears and eyes - however, this face appears to be a three quarters view, not a frontal shot. The left ear and eye (right, for the viewer) should be horizontally resized to about 66% to make it look more natural.

mouth is a little wide and mis-placed, too.

Also, you have very poor hygiene.

I tried a different character this time. I think the results are better, but I know there are some problems. Critique away.

i think the problem is that you're using flash and not something that's actually designed for making art.

well, i plan on making movies with them, I am just testing to see if my movie art will be acceptable.

you make your art in a different progam, then use flash to animate it.

don't ask me: i don't flash. i just know it's not an illustrating program.

This thread reminds me of a site I saw a while back, wherein some kid was drawing wrestlers in MSPaint.

I am very much in Chojins boat ps i think that maybe there should be an arcade-style fighting stage game and that will be the intro screen and it'd go for maybe 2 minutes and that song would play durring the entire game???

It isn't suprising why it got blammed, when it is a funny cartoon disguised as a "i hope i get lucky and this ends up being funny" cartoon. Do an indepth anaylsis of the site the pictures came from including commentary from the wrestler drawings. Though it would be far too much work, and probably not worth it, that would be what is needed to let the viewer know that this is actually funny.

I wish responses to reviews didn't get deleted when a movie got blammed. I made some really psychotic death threats and accusations of homosexuality to most of them.
