Also, if you just brush the cat more, there will be less loose hair, and thus, fewer hairballs.

well another solution to helping your cat's problem is to buy it some speciallity cat food with stuff that breaks down furballs....I bought it for my cat when he was a wee kitten, and it worked pretty damn well!

speciallity cat food = Drano

Well, the bottle says to only use for it's intended purpose - i.e. pour it down the drain. Under those restrictions, how else do you expect to get it into the cat without the cat being in the drain, Mr. Smarty Pants? :rolleyes Unless you bum-rig your pipes to redirect down its throat.
