Worst Halloween Treat?
 

I would say the apple. I like apples OK but, due to a mostly urban legend, my mom would make me cut and wash the apple before eating it in case it had pins or razor blades pushed in it. In the end, it was not worth the effort when I had a bag full of Halloween goodness that was mostly peel-n-eat.

Apples taste better than most of the candy I got. :(

I don't like the swedish fish candy or anything gummy for that matter. Unless its the kind that is covered in sugar, all sparkly and sweet.

I fucking hate Smarties, and I think Candy Corn is some inside joke or something because no-one I know likes it.

I think the horrible collection of Huggeies/Pop and potato chips were always a huge let down. I *know* you can buy a shit load for real cheap, but it's Halloween, damnit, and I want candy!

Furthermore, I'm a big fan of candy corn and it hurts me to hear so much shit talked on it. :/

I also love candy corn. I remember watching an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark where they had this kid that ate candy corn all the freaking time. It was about this chick working night shift in a hospital and the patients turned into zombies and shit. Was a great episode.

Mystie, I totally remember that episode. Sadly, I think it's what inspired me to eat candy corn like a fiend. Me and my one friend used to eat the stuff like there was coke in from September to November in hopes of being cool like that kid...

CANDY CORN

Worst Halloween treat. Economy wise I'd say Cans of Pop. Or Bottles. Why? Sure they are cans of pop but if you get them near the start of your candy crusade they bigin to tire the arms after 4 or 5 hours of trick or treating.

Taste wise its those godawful Molasses Candys. Its like people give handfulls of them to you out of spite. I dont' recall eating more than one in my whole life.

I remember I got a fun size pack of Pretzels one Halloween. I also got a pack of honey roasted airline peanuts once from a guy on our street who worked at some airline. I guess he got to take home however many he wanted.

When I was about 4, I trick or treated to some weird jamaican guys house. I'm guessing he didn't have candy because he yelled, "Trick!" and started dancing all weird. I guess thats worse than candy.

i once got about forty pounds of mixed candies from some dude that had'nt got any vists that halloween.

Apples. It used to piss me off whenever I got an apple. I had to be polite and say "thanks" though. And I'm not talking candy or caramel apples here either. Those rocked.

box of raisins....i hate getting those in my sack in the past...i reach in my bag and expect some chocolate covered peanuts and end up getting plain old raisins.

at least with an apple you can whip it at some nerdy or mouthy kid so its not a complete loss.
