phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

This is all I keep getting over and over again. I have to click on each thread four or five times before I stop getting the error message and it will load. Which I am sadly willing to do because I am bored as shit on my lunch break.

Anybody else getting the same problem?

Indeedy. It should all be working smoothly soon enough. If not, I'll be calling tech support again tonight to see what's taking so long...

Over the past few days, I kept getting that message and then would not be able to reach the board for a while. I just thought I had the shit luck of being on during maintenance time, or something.

I got it again just a min ago. Hopefully it wont continue

Just keep me posted... if you guys are still getting the error later on tonight I'll contact tech support again.

I think the server is great

I only got it once in the last ten minutes, which is better than the barrage of them from last night and this morning. :/

You couldn't spell his name backwards either. You capitalized the E instead of the M.

I got it trying to access this thread. It was muy funny. :/

I was getting it a lot yesterday, but I thought that it was just the message board trying to prevent ME from accessing it as a service to everyone else.

This is what happens when you let little Korean kids run your server. :(

Yeah, it's pretty bad. I come onto the board, and it usually works. Then I click on a forum, and I get the error. Reload, and I get into the forum. I click on a thread, I get the error. Reload, and I still get it. Then I finally see the thread. I try to go back to the forum, and I get the error.

Then I get the error for about a half hour until I give up, and come back a couple hours later.

And the process repeats.

Chances are I'll get the error yet again trying to post this.

edit: er... or not. At least I can eventually get where I want by tapping F5 (refresh) though.

Just got this via email from tech support:

We have addressed a conflict issue on your account and all services are restored and available. Please let us know if we may be of further assistance.

So keep an eye on the board and tell me if you keep getting the errors...
