Do you guys WANT more people? I can't do digital stuff, but I can always uh, take a photo of stuff or something? I just thought it might be better with more people.

YES we want more people. We don't have any restrictions on the art form you use; I don't know how you'd work off the last image with a photograph but I am sure you have something in mind. So do you want to participate?

Eh, I guess. I mean, what's the worst that can happen? I screw up and everyone hates me for it? That's not too bad.

I suppose what I would do is paint something on a canvas as best a continuation of the previous image as I could, take a digital photo and then blend it in proper using MS paint skills.

So we send the image to you when it's done, is there a time frame?

Looking over the stuff you've done before is daunting. I am rubbish!

We're all just dicking around here so I'm not going to bother with formal deadlines. I can be patient, unless someone takes too long without any response or someone else complains.

But it's been weeks. I don't claim to understand the art world, but if he can't turn out a simple piece for a message board activity like this in a nearly a month, I don't think an extra day is going to help.

I wouldn't have even minded that much if he come back a week after his last post with another excuse because at least then we'd know he's thinking about it.

Like I said I'll try to get in touch with him, if I can't do so in a timely manner then I'll move him down the list. The thing is, even if I do skip him when was the last time anyone saw Nick around here? I probably shouldn't have put the two people I never see up first.

Photobucket resized Grislygus' image so I have to wait until he sends it through emails. Once I have it I'll immediately put together and put up the EQ.

Not to toot my and the participants' collective horns but I believe this EQ is way better than any of the others we've done so far. And if I ever throw one of these together again I've learned a few lessons that should be of use.

I'm having a little trouble, the EQ I have up is fuzzy. Putting it together and saving it as a jpeg in MsPaint did that. I redid it and resaved it as a 24-bit BMP which fixed my problem but now Deviant Art won't recognize the file and I can't upload it. I'm not sure what to do here.

It only drastically effects Grislygus' piece though and I've fixed that by hosting his image by itself so I guess this isn't an urgent matter.

I don't know how everyone else felt about starting with that Van Gogh painting but I'd probably do something similar with this EQ. I think it's important that everyone participating is continuing off of someone else's work. I'm not an art enthusiast though and I grabbed that Van Gogh at random so this time I'd appreciate some art suggestions to start with (PM those please).

I haven't dropped the ball on one yet. However, I won't be available to work on it until after this next week

I won't be able to do it proper until Autumn when I have access to my equipment.

I'm starting a new job June 1st, so I'll be tired from lots of driving for about 4 weeks after that.

Aaarg actually commented on that, asking me if he should tweak the bottom of his segment so it'd have more variation. I told him it was fine because people loved the freedom no variance gave them. Whoops :lol

The way your's continues off of Aaarg's is the best in my opinion so it worked out alright.
