Doodles

I fight boredom with irrelevant drawings.

Uh?

Vikings hate anime.

I need to stop drawing in paint. :(

MLE Jan 7th, 2008 03:30 PM

I don't know why, but i REALLY love the first one. Oh, and go participate in our weekly event!

Tadao Jan 7th, 2008 03:48 PM

They all look good to me. Keep drawing in paint.

MLE Jan 7th, 2008 03:51 PM

If you want to switch it up, you can draw in photoshop as well, but i recommend using some of the pencil "brushes" instead of the brush brushes.

I have Macromedia Flash and Fireworks, but most of the time when I feel like drawing, I always open paint. It's a horrible habit. :(

I like your stuff! I think if you go outside of paint, you should go to photoshop, but I really like what you're making in paint already!

Thanks!

I found some more doodles, I forgot I still had these.

Cutting edge political satire!

For some reason I found the idea of this hilarious after reading and listening to "Beach Patrol"

MLE Jan 7th, 2008 05:04 PM

After a quick move to a new house and acquiring a tablet, I'm back.

I just drew this for the Wild Weekly Event before I noticed it was locked.

MLE Jan 31st, 2008 12:26 AM

I'll add it in there as a late entry in the first post. I just don't want people focusing on past weeks. It's supposed to be a concept thing. not something for polished drawings anyways.

I understand that, like I said I drew it without checking if it was this weeks topic, because I'm like that. I just figured I'd post it in this topic it anyhow. :)

I like some of your robot's features (head, right forearm, legs). It has a nice solid/compact, quirky look.

MLE Feb 5th, 2008 12:38 AM

Rookie, that last comment was uncalled for, and I am editing your post. Consider it a first warning. I'm off to look at your other posts now.

ROOKIE Feb 5th, 2008 04:18 PM

I think you might be misinterpreting my comments MLE; the second half of my response (the one you took the liberty to erase) was based on the skill and potential he displays in certain parts of his drawings, such as that cool robot. Bah, I can't really get into it because you might deem it offensive yet again. :p

MLE Feb 5th, 2008 11:27 PM

It's not that I'm taking it personally to myself. I'm protecting the artist here. Be more careful and positive with how to critique people's work. The comment you made to Tadao was completely uncalled for, and the only reason I didn't erase it is because he told me not to, and it was his art thread.

Sacks Feb 15th, 2008 06:13 PM

I'm not sure what he said in here but I went and looked at the completely uncalled for things he said in Tadao's thread and it just looked like an honest opinion. Is it really that big of a deal?
