Soundcard Problem

Hello, all.

I'm using Xp with Acid Music 2.0 and my soundcard locks up at random intervals while recording, and the program hangs.

It won't even let me close it manually; I just have to wait till it closes itself. [PROGRAM NOT RESPONDING. Close? Ignore?]

Can anyone tell me why it's doing that? This never happened in Win98SE.

Acid 2 is a really old version of the software. I have 4 and that's years and years old itself. I'd recommend getting something newer.
