My favorite segment is "The Crate" but there's not really a reason to choose as you get them all in one great movie. I love that last shot of Nathan. :halloween2

My overall favorite segment is still "The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill". Stephen King is such a loveable idiot in it, and "lunkhead" will forever be part of my vernacular thanks to it. I really wish we could've seen Jordy and Ernest go on a Halloween adventure together.
"Something To Tide You Over" is also incredibly good, what with Ted Danson and Leslie Nielsen giving some uncharacteristic performances... not to mention some freaky aqua-zombies! |

No props for the ending to "They're Creeping Up On You"? You know, where the racist old bastard gets eaten by cockroaches?
And hey, speaking of horror anthologies: I just got the complete collection of "Tales from the Crypt" on DVD; ten bucks a season on Amazon! I know you did a write up on "And All Through the House" already, but there are enough great episodes that it'd make great fodder a full Top 10 or even Top 20 list for Halloween. |
Since every single one of the five stories in Creepshow would make a great piece, I was actually somewhat reluctant to click on this one when it was announced. It was as if until I observed it, there was a sort of "Schrödinger's Mock" where there were pieces on all 5 stories existing in parallel simultaneously!

The segment with the cockroaches has always grossed me out. I agree this movie, Creepshow, is a great one. I think creepshow 2 had a few good ones, too, like the one called The Raft with that blob thing at the lake...
