$300 is better than the original price, but I'm still going to need to see some more top notch console exclusives before I think about buying one. That, or another, more significant price drop.

Edit: An interesting aside: The PS3 models with hardware backward compatability are selling for more than the newer models, in spite of the fact that the new models come with a game, and the old ones only come with a controller.

I owned both a 360 and a PS3, and I returned them both to Walmart within 2 months of owning them, as there was absolutely no justification for owning either.

This is by far the most fucking disappointing generation in video game history, and I'm just going to sit it out. Its not getting any better.

I agree about the 360 as well, and am somewhat considering getting another one, however after the price of the ps3 dropped to 299, they hiked the price of the 199 xbox to 229, to make the 299 xbox seem more reasonable, and steal sales from the PS3 which is a brilliant, yet bullshit move.

I'm still happy with the PS2 right now, so meh.

does anyone really buy milk in bags anymore? It doesn't stay fresh long enough, and if my milk is not fresh or has a strange taste, straight to the sink it goes.

I think they still have bagged milk in northern ontario. I know a guy from thunder bay who went on about it all the time.

I haven't seen bagged milk since my family lived in one of the little military communities here in Alberta, and that was in the early 90's. Even then, I think it was only bagged 'cause all the families there got them for free for whatever reason, and the bags were a lot cheaper than cartons.

bagged milk seems like a hassle. How do you keep it fresh? Do you roll the top of the bag up and clip it, like potato chips?

We had this jug specifically for the opened bags of milk. You put the bag in the jug, cut the top corner, and try to use it all as quickly as possible :\

The bags weren't big. I think we got one every day or so.

We used to have it all the time, when I was a kid. It was not fresh most of the time, but your right zomboid, it was cheaper. My parents still have a milkman and could get bagged milk if they wanted, but I don't think many people buy it.

Edit: the one's we had were a litre, so you'd use it pretty quick.

Yep, ours was like that, only white and I put a Jurassic Park sticker on it.

The whole idea was to use the milk that same day, so freshness wasn't a huge concern.

Well, you could say if you buy a PS3 and spill your bag of milk on it, it will only cost you 300 bucks to replace it.

Or you could say you could buy a PS3 and since it has such a disappointing library of games (other than a handful of exceptions) you could store your bags of milk in the hollowed out PS3 shell.

Man this generation is a disaster. I've never seen 2 systems have as much wrong with them as these 2 chowderheads.

The 360 seems to be the winner, however it breaks and overheats constantly, and you have to pay to use it online, AND factor in the cost of a wifi adaptor, if you are a neat freak about cords like I am.

The PS3 is the better built system, but the controller is absolute shit, and if I had polydactyly, I could count the good games for it on one hand.

Thank god the ps2 is still around. I still can't think of a mechanical flaw for the system, and it has 1600 games for it.

Oh well. I guess after 8 years of Bush, everyone got used to lowered expectations.

PS3's controller has a D-Pad that isn't shit. And I don't like the feel of the joystick or buttons on the 360. But that's neither here nor there. We're getting off topic.

Any of you guys try Lactaid? My friend has a shitload because he's lactose intolerant, but I can't imagine that it tastes as good as regular milk.

I love the feel of the joysticks and triggers on the 360. Those stupid shoulder buttons and nubs on the ps3 controller really do kinda suck in comparison, but they still beat the shit outta the fucking wiimote.

I've never tried Lactaid, but I have used condensed milk in coffee. I don't like coffee, but that gross looking milk made it tolerable when I needed a caffeine fix.

I have a question for you guys: what's your favorite brand of chocolate milk? Cause when I was a kid, my mom would just buy Ovaltine, but that shit didn't really taste chocolatey. NesQuick is what I usually see, so I usually stick with that, but sometimes I see other brands, like ULTIMATE CHOCOLATE MILK, which makes me stomach feel funny but tastes pretty good.
